Well, Halloween is creeping around the corner, so what are some of your favorites? Like movies, songs, books?
To start off, one of my favorite Halloween movies is The Halloween Tree. It's an old cartoon, but it is still pretty good. As for songs, 'This is Halloween' from The Nightmare Before Christmas is always a classic.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is definitely my favorite Halloween movie. I always used to greatly enjoy the Halloween specials on Disney Channel when I was younger, and still enjoy an occasional Halloween special if the show is able to handle it (a lot of them are just not interesting, IMO). I'm not big on horror movies anymore, but had lots of fun watching them at an earlier stage in life (until I realized the scares were lasting longer than the movies' duration).
Im actually a huge fan of Hocus Pocus, Its the perfect amount of Halloween fun in a movie. Its all pretty standard inmy house to watch Nightmare Before Christmas around Halloween [as well as Christmas haha] Im not really into watching horror, most of the time it just fails to scare me, so I prefer the more light hearted family halloween movies.
Nightmare before christmas, Coraline, and Beetlejuice!
Nightmare Before Christmas
Every Halloween I meet my friends and we make a movie night. Nightmare Before Christmas is our first movie for the night than a few Horror movies. i love Halloween
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
my favourite halloween movies are the craft, monster house, and the addams family :~)
i love hocus pocus and the halloween town movies. i also love when tv shows have halloween specials :)
Hocus Pocus is my favorite Halloween movie of all time! I watch that and Nightmare Before Christmas every year, they're both classics and it's become a tradition of sorts. Frankenweenie (both the live action short and animated movie) is another one I love. In addition to my favorite gothic soap opera Dark Shadows (original 1966 series) I also like to binge watch shows like Paranormal Witness.
When I was a kid, I was obsessed with the book In a Dark, Dark Room and Other Scary Stories. I haven't read it in a few years but whenever I see it at bookstore I always flip through it. I try to watch Garfield's Halloween Adventure (1985) every year if I can find it online. I, too, love Hocus Pocus. I try to watch it at least once around Halloween.
i feel like the movie Ginger Snaps is befitting of halloween (one of my favorite movies!) nightmare before chirstmas is too much of a given lol. the soundtrack is pretty solid too soul eater (anime) gets me in the halloween spirit as well! ^.^
Oh, man, every old Disney Channel Halloween movie was my jam back in the day (and today). I'm so glad so many people like Hocus Pocus! It's so strange and amazing! My sister and I were just talking about Under Wraps and the Halloweentown series yesterday, and I've been meaning to rewatch The Watcher in the Woods for ages. And speaking of Watchers in the Woods, Are You Afraid of the Dark? is a great Halloween tradition (or any day really). Also I've recently been reading a series (for kids...) called Creepover that has been scarier than most adult horror novels, and Algernon Blackwood is great if you want to get in the spooky mindset.
Basically what I'm trying to say is I love Halloween, and I'm so excited.
For when I was Younger I remember when AMC would use to play the really really old horror movies from the 50's. Like THEM,Deadly Mantis, Black Scorpion,Dracaulaura ... just to name a few. those use to scare me so much. That I would have nightmares from them. But they no longer do those movies. But I still do that on every halloween. Just stock up on old horror movies and watch them. I don't get nightmares any more lol.
