I've been going threw the mill of mixed messages now for the past few days. PNC apparently is declining the process from Braintree on my Pre Paid Visa according to a response with my ticket. While I plan to try a card threw another bank, mom's concerned as to WHY it's not getting processed as it's a large chain. Perhaps Braintree is questionable to them, which is understandable as Pay Pal has had a iffy history and Braintree is a Pay Pal owned site.

This is a problem as other banks might be like this and not everyone is so willing just to get a Pay Pal account to add their pre paid in. This meens when Stripe is lost many of us may not be able to buy CSC anymore except with SP unless another payment methiod is offered.

Pre-Paid Visas require activation and a PIN, and according to someone (I think it's Keith), prepaid cards with PINs do not work with Braintree.

Most Pre Paids have PINs anymore, I have yet to learn of any that doesn't. ._.

It still kinda doesn't help in that case as that meens haveing to go out on a limb to find one , I've been taken in circles over this the past three days and it still comes back as ( Braintree doesn't accept Non Pay Pal prepaids).

I'm fine with just dealing with the fact I won't be able to use the Cash Shop after Stripe goes away but I can't be the only one who would feel pressured to have to join something I don't want because it's the only payment method on here. Those who can't use Braintree soon won't have a choice, they either won't be able to buy CSC or have to use Pay Pal/possibly normal credit card ( which last I checked still needs to be added to the Pay Pal site).

I'm just worried there's going to be a mess if there isn't a alternative method for those who want to stay away from Pay Pal.

Edit: Suddenly both a amercan express pre paid I bought and the Visa went threw Braintree today, not sure if the process failing is random ( Braintree's site hinted it to be) or something suddently changed to make it go threw today.

Yes, turns out that when they changed how card information was saved on the site ( by removeing it completely) it automaticly fixed the above issue.

Only problem since then was it not accepting a card it was accepting before but I'm suspecting either I did my math wrong and there wasn't anything left or something strange happened with that spacific pre paid.
