Hi all!
I've just gotten back into Subeta after like a year and a half/two years of inactivity, though I first joined three years ago. During my past usage of Subeta, I never got too involved with the community (at most I had an art shop), but I'm interested in changing that this time around.
A bit about me: my name's Ashanti, I'm an 18-year-old art student, and I really like space. I also really like comics, and I recently started up a webcomic called Galanthus. I have a vested interest in creator and character diversity in fiction. I knit a lot, I love redemption arcs, and my favorite color is blue.
So how about y'all? What's up with you? I hope everyone has been having a nice day.
hello & welcome (back) to subeta! be sure to check your user dashboard to see if you gained any loyalty boxes.
i'm danielle and i'm not very popular on this site, but i am super friendly! we don't have a lot in common, but that's okay. i wanted to welcome you anyway.
Thank you, Danielle! I really appreciate it. c:
I know I said a lot about me, so what's up? What sort of things do you enjoy?
you're very welcome c:
well i like swimming, reading, and playing pc games mostly! i went to college for computers but didn't finish, was more of a hobby than a career
Welcome back! Your art is great, I love your trad line work :) Hope you stick around this time, and don't be a stranger if you've any questions!

Those are good hobbies! It's been a while since I went swimming, but that's always fun. With computers, do you code/program at all? If not, what sort of computer-related things are most interesting to you?
Hi there! Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. (Also, thanks so much for the links there! good stuff good stuff.)
mostly just computer protection and maintenance. the official name of the certificate i got is computer technician. so i do basic stuff, not networking or programming/coding (i quit during that semester) but i do like html. i can install os's, fix viruses/trojans/rootkits, do minor repairs to the computer's hardware, etc. though i haven't been keeping up with my certification so i'm not familiar with anything past windows 7.
dang, that's really impressive! about the furthest I can get with computers is amateur web design/html + css website coding; anything else is way too advanced. because of that, it's even cooler to me that anyone's able to do the sorts of things you've described. O
