After few years of not really being here i really have no idea about pricing art there. My wishlist is growing big so i was thinking of drawing for items from it, but items there vary from 25,000 to not even available in users shops, so it would be good to know how much to ask from users.

Most recent, messy, sketchy, but mine ^___^ (,,> ﹏ <,,) url=https://40.media.tumblr.com/414e6b4fd97b965693143148fd9031b3/tumblr_nvycecd4Gd1rbu4c0o3_r1_500.png url=https://41.media.tumblr.com/6af145384e372adf1637fffce31e7536/tumblr_nvycecd4Gd1rbu4c0o2_r1_540.png ヽ(•̀ω•́ )ゝ

two questions: 1) what currency are you looking to use with pricing your art? 2) how long does it take you to finish the kind of art that you would be selling?

sp i think? CSC could be good too. I never really look at time, but i think i'm doing sketches in 5-10 min, things like that around 30, something more could take 1-2 hours.

Could you tell which ones are like 500k, and which would be more waluable? :D

gotcha! based on those time estimates, here are a couple ranges that I'll throw out there:

• 5-10 minute sketches = 500k - 5mil, depending on scope/complexity/presence of color • 30 minute rendered piece = 15-20mil (there's a lot of wiggly room here, imo. the range I give is what I would throw out there for the piece you linked, but the price obviously goes up with other factors, such as bust/halfbody/fullbody, background complexity, etc) • 1-2 hour pieces = 40mil+?? I'd have to see an example to feel more confident giving an estimate, but the more complex/detailed/rendered it is, the more valuable

keep in mind: 1) pricing is always subjective. 2) you can always lower or raise your prices if you feel you're not getting enough customers or not getting enough for your work. 3) the Subeta art market tends to underprice severely, and I'm not a fan of severe underpricing, so I've given you ranges that I think deal with an alright hourly wage while still being affordable to Subeta users

also, if anyone out there disagrees with the ranges I've laid out, please speak up! more opinions are great. (and I've only been back on Subeta for a short while after a long absence, so there's that)

the first three examples would be at least 2mill. the first four older examples are definitely worth 3mill and up

and anything with more than one character in it, charge at least 1mill more
