It'd be nice if the discount cards would also work with the alegarten shop etc... a discount on the 300k items would be nice. especially since the 30% discount card costs 150 mil in the millionaire center
While something like this would be nice (because who doesn't like saving sP), it just doesn't make sense for those types of shops. The staff prices the items like they do because that is how much they want the items to cost. The items are infinitely available until the shop closes, if it is one that closes, so the usershop prices typically reflect the official cost. They control, though not as efficiently, the prices of restockable items too by adjusting their availability. (In the past, they've even bought items from usershops to bring up that item's price.)

No support. The purpose of this shop is to act as an sP-sink. Making the discount work on it is a failure of purpose.
I would do the discount only for the Antique shops.. It can wonderful for the system.
- More people will buy the discount cards from the MC or the CS - sp sink or a more money to subeta.
- More people will use the Antique shop, the feeling of a discount would be awesome and finally this sp sink would sink the sp!!

For the rest of the shops there's no need at all, already cheap..
that would only work if the discount cards were r202, if they weren't, people would just lend them out.
Yes you are right, maybe it's time to make them r202.. or as a permanent buff? instead of locking them in the inventory for life..
Oh no, I don't want my card locked into my account for life. If I ever leave here, I intend to send it to someone. XD
I do think that perhaps if there was -some- added advantage, more people would be willing to get one.
Do you have a rare item that just won't sell? Are you going through the high levels of Item Hunt? Or maybe you just HATE that blue bunny? Then you should join IHH helpers and IHH bargain in the forum groups!
The antique shop wasn't meant to be an sp sink; it was meant to get super old plot items/unbuyables back on the market. including the seasonal shops (brewery etc) in the discount wouldn't really bother me though.

No support for any of the other Suggestions upthread either.
Major Drills and the Fragmentizer and Cash Shop Hustler and Token Shop restocks already are mechanisms for getting old / retired items into the system, so sorry you are wrong. There's no reason plot prizes couldn't drop through these already existing methods.

I have the 30% card, and this item is ridiculous. I save 30 million a year with it, much of it all in smallish chunks that have been pooh-poohed earlier upthread. The chunk size is not really relevant, but certainly that there are a few shops with high wholesale prices. All That Glitters, Apocalyptic Apothecary. Discount card do NOT need to be made more useful nor should Subeta encourage anyone to buy them, really.
