So some of us older lurkers/forumites will probably remember the old budget item threads. Personally I miss those, however I don't particularly have the time to maintain one for every layer. Instead given I'm hunting for backdrop options and to actually have a decent range of options I figured I'd throw a thread up for backdrop suggestions and tricks. So if anyone feels up to it feel free to share your favourite backdrops and combinations, although to keep it relevant let's make it a little challenging. So to make the advice somewhat universal try to keep the suggestions under 2mil in total.
I'm currently wearing the over over I especially like the way the bottom half of the art print looks kind of like carpet under the wainscoting. In general, the Delphi art museum is a good place to look for backdrops. I also love all the colors of . They are even more affordable if you use alchemy to make them yourself(about 35K at current prices for materials). Of course I can't forget or the three colors of

Ooh, thanks for that first suggestion, ! That background really does end up looking like carpet!
Subetalodge is a great resource. I sorted for clothing, backdrop layer lowest user price first, but sometimes the prices are skewed a bit. Just hunt around a bit, I've found a lot of great Bg'ds that way.
For the moment I am in love with my (they cost 20vesnali coins in esthers shop! or lowest 450k in usershop price), cost 12 questpoint or 300k lowest usershop price, and found in the The Delphi Museum of Modern Art for 100k.
People should really look in the The Delphi Museum of Modern Art they have beautiful backgrounds! :)
Will I ever fall in love. // For any kind of commissions smail me! <3 //
The is like 85k from Go Outside, and there are some really nice ones in the quest shop, like the or or . Also from the quest shop, if you're not into doing the lower hafl of your ha, the in front of the is really cute, or just the flower vase. The is only 100k. And of course, sporting it now(12/7), one of my favorite fallbacks is with , and ; which is super complex but is on enough different layers to not require an OLL. :)
Also a full second/third/+1 on the delphi modern art museum, it's crazy gorgeous. Sorry for the terrible spaceyness of the post lol
and the recolors work under or and the wainscotings and tiles too. and the recolors also works well above nature backgrounds and with the floor tiles.
, and the other cutout overlays make a lot of things fancy.
+ pumpkin foggers. . can work on some things? And yesssss to all of the above, quest shop/delphi MoMA are great.
