I ran the 2013 discussion thread (but it’s gone now due to the forums revamp), as well as the 2014 discussion thread, which can be found here. I like to think that no one loves Alegarten as much as me. Maybe the staff that run it, but those are… exceptions. :P

When did Alegarten start on site? Looking through the news archives I can only find the earliest news about Alegarten from October 1st, 2008. (news post)

How can I dress for Alegarten? There are loads of new wearables this year in addition to the older ones, all Alegarten clothes can be viewed here, at the trusted and notable subeta help site, Subetalodge: http://www.subetalodge.org/list_clothing/rlow/1/rhigh/199/notes/alegarten The is an Alegarten related costume trunk.

If I don't buy something today from the store, will it be gone forever or never to be seen until next year? Or I may see that item in a few days? asked by in 2014 The stock rotates the same items daily. For example the clothes will be in the store for 10 hours during the day, and after that the shop disappears until the next day, when the same clothes will be available again. This goes on for the duration of Alegarten and all the shops retire until next year. Upon the next Alegarten the older items may stay retired while the newer ones come back. (But as I've heard time and again from staff, nothing stays retired forever.)

Why do we give Gunter beer? asked by in 2014 Updated answer: This is for the achievement "Drunk Gunter" in which you give Gunter 250 beer items (any item with the word beer), which is still achievable this year in 2015 (Thanks ).

I thought I remembered quite a few Alegarten achievements last year, but when I poked around trying to find them, I could only find 2 for reading books. Are there any others that I'm just not finding? asked by in 2015

The achievements are hard to find because there's no alegarten section. I'll try to list the titles of the ones I can find (you can use the search to find them by title)

*Costs 38,252,500 sP to buy every single item this year. *Costs 5,905,000 sP to buy every new item.

*Each shop is open for 10 hours at a time, and there's a two minute wait between purchases *Yes, two shops may be open at once. *All shops are closed from 5AM-6AM Subeta time. *I recommend checking user shop prices first just in case the user shop is cheaper than the set price!

Alegarten doesn't start until tomorrow but feel free to chat about the Alegarten hype ^-^ There is information in the first post that may be helpful and I will be (hopefully, if internet permits) updating it as Alegarten goes on.

If you need help finding clothes there's a link to all the alegarten clothes in the first post :) There seems to be some cheap pieces around, though if it's too expensive you might should wait until the actual alegarten store opens.

I was all excited about it being tomorrow, but then I remembered that it'll start tomorrow evening, and I'll probably be in bed by then. I have to wait until Friday for beery Germanic funtimes.

I have a partly completed outfit in my wardrobe which I should work on. Still being a pirate feels a bit gauche once keel hauliday is over.

I'm actually pretty excited for the shops. Last year I was running low on sp, so I wasn't able to get much. I have plenty of sp stored in my vault for this year though. :D

I've been trying to save up a bit of sP for this year, I have so much stuff I still need ;-;

Yes, the sad part is that it always starts in the evening. I can barely wait as it is. x( And nice outfit! I like the inclusion of the goat.

Personally I have spent so much lately, I'm not sure why haha, I will pay for doing that, or rather, I won't be able to afford to pay for it.

I still need the flower beards myself, I can't wait to get my hands on them this year.

I know, the millionaire center is torturous, I just spent several million there yesterday! The cost depends on what items you like to get from alegarten, if you just want a specific thing like wearables, or everything. I think last year I focused on just wearables but since then I've gotten into food and books so I may need a large chunk of sP for this.

It definitely is! I need so many of the autumn sphinx items it's ridiculous, lol. I collect wears, food, and books also, so I'm in the same boat x)
