a higher number of any value
OR the same number of a higher value
I'm so confused. The way I understood the rules was that, if you make a new bid, you have to increase either the number of dice bid OR the value of the dice.

For example: he bids two 2s. You can bid: three 2s or two 3s

And both those options work. But why can't I bid, for example, one 6? The value of the dice is still higher than his bid, but it seems that as soon as someone bids a ridiculous quantity of dice (e.g. four), you're obligated to bid at least four dice as well. But the way the rules read, the number of dice isn't the only way to outbid him, so I'm confused by the restriction. :x

I think what the rules are trying to say is something like this:

Quote
You can bid:
a higher number of dice with any face values
the same number of dice with higher face values

I just was asking this question myself the other day to finish up the scavenger hunt, and I found a really helpful post by Blythe that broke it down very well. Hope it helps you too!
