I see a lot of items have a specific pet theme and on top of that I can only find next to nothing for battle items for a Lasirus pet which is my active pet. What gives? Is it important at all? When pets are equip with items for their species do those items perform better? I need answers

Pet-themed weapons aren't any different from any others here- any pet can use any weapon so long as it isn't above their tier. c:

dunno if any of the smaller pet themed weapons have been modified by the BAs to work that way, but the Mighty Kora Gauntlet is stronger when wielded by a Kora. It does one half Thief tear and one half Critical tear extra. This is a small but determinable difference.

They did say they intended to do this for other weapons, but as far as I know nobody has tested for any of them to say for sure if they have or not or what the benefit might be.
