I know we already recently got an owl but i'm ALWAYS a fan of birds so let me just drop these ideas out here and let everyone share their own that they would like to see.

Yes, I would also love to see more bird pets here! I'd especially love a sea bird (sea gulls are my fave!), but I love your other suggested species as well. I bet the artists could get really creative with a fantasy hummingbird ^^

And I think we are missing feathered raptors, so that or a terror bird would be a great addition ^^

Birds are like my favourite thing ever so I always support, but I think we're more likely to get an experiment pet now than an actual species. Which I'd also be okay with if that's the only way we're going to get another bird soon. If not a species can we get an experiment? ;0; I only say this cos I know this will probably get a fair amount of comments pointing out that we already have 6 bird-inspired pets. However! The noticeable gap in here is that we have almost no pets inspired by tropical birds! I'd really love to see a macaw-inspired pet (Enchanted Tiki Room pet pls) or a toucan one would be great. However if we can only get an experiment, I feel like the flightless bird would notch in really well there. I'd be willing to bide my time though if it meant a tropical bird (the Lain might be meant to be tropical but I honestly can't tell).

I think a few feathered experiments would be nice (I'd love to see some sort of sea bird or a big-ass eagle or something). But I feel like Subeta already has birds pretty well covered (especially since custom overlays are relatively cheap). We already have Lains (which could cover anything from songbirds to gulls), Cybils (penguins), Mallarchies (ducks, geese) Noktoas (owls), and Festers (vultures, hawks, eagles, etc.)

I'd rather see effort be put towards finishing existing species+colors or making animals that aren't already represented.

I would love to see a toucan or a humming bird.

I only support if it's an experiment. Sorry, but we already have a duck, parakeet, vulture/eagle, and an owl.

I'd rather have something else that's shelled. A snail, nautilus, hermit crab no I'm not shamelessly promoting my board shhh

A vast majority of the species are mammals. Compared to that, 6 birds is really nothing. Birds are not all that well covered. There are a HUGE VARIETY of different birds that the current species look nothing like. We have 6 canines and they are just a family. Birds are an entire class of organisms. I don't think there would be any harm in having more birds.

I would lose my shit if we had a hummingbird pet/experiment. Some bitchin eagle would be pretty rad as long as it was different enough from the Fester.

There's only three legitimate canines, one vulpine. Four legitimate cats. Four sea creatures (three of which are not mammals).

You want a sixth legitimate bird species. That's too many.

23 species are not mammals, excluding the dragarth, donakak, and irion, which are ambiguous. 23 out of 68 total species is about one third. That's far from a 'vast majority'.

I'm in full support of an experiment for a new bird. But there's already five actual bird species on site, we don't need another one. There's many other ideas that can be explored. (Cephalopods for example, or even more plant species because there's ONLY the aeanoid)

I would love more birds on the site. Especially a terrorbird of some sort. Something like a kiwi would be great too.

2. Mammalia is a class. Aves is also a class. Aves is, in fact, a more diverse class than Mammalia. If there are 3 different representations of canines, what reason is there that there can't be a representation of a bird that isn't already represented?

Foxes are vulpes, not canis. It's part of the canidae family but is not a canine. Canine comes from Canis, which is the genus dog and wolf falls under.

You want twice as many birds to canines. Of the 'legitimate' species, birds have the most (five), along with a griffin like creature. You want a SIXTH. We do not need a sixth. We need to: explore different pet ideas, and/or focus on getting every pet in every available color.

Experiments are fine, a sixth bird species is excessive.

I am with Aztec on the species. Experiment cool but species no. You can always get a custom overlay of the experiment to meet your needs.

Always yes to more birds. I see no reason why we can't have both.
