I now have all of my pets fully species-ed and colored! I did two (and redid one) today.

I just adopted my baby Gwynneth here today (managed to get her name from a cleared account even) and just kind of splurged on the potion and toy for her.

I've had Wraithlike for a while now and just kind of went "Screw it" and bought the CSC for the Neela and then got the potion.

And finally, I fully specied and potioned Drucella, a girl I've had for a while as well. Then I accidentally zapped her into an experiment on accident. And then rebought all of the things again for her.

aaaaaaaaand now I have no money.
