So, working on some accessories because wigs are murdering me.
I wanted a quill on-site! :)

I'm fond of the CI, and I don't hate the overlay, but it resized less crisp than I would have liked. Thoughts?
It's meant to eventually go with another HP tribute. :)
heya! The item is really cute, but it needs a stronger outline! At the moment the lineart is super thin and weak, probably due it being too thin on the original size (and then resizing into thinner lines).
Same for the overlay, it's really just about the outline, the positioning of the quill itself is nice! I'd try adding a few more shadows at the lower tier of it, so it has more depth (especially near the fingers, as they would technically cast shadows onto the quill)
One trick to make the lines appear crispier, is to add a thin, paler line inside to counter the black line merging into the color. I'm making just about no sense, so here are a few examples of what I mean! (the CIs are super big, but you can adjust to whichever working size you have of course!)

One last thing -- for some reason, if you resize with all your layers seperated, pixels will sometimes crop into a weird way. Try copying the entire thing into a new, flat file (all layers merged) and then resize again, it may actually help! If you're using photoshop, it usually creates smoother CIs than if you use SAI (which has pretty crisp resizing) n_n
(side note: I got your mail, im so sorry, I'll do this tonight!)
