Hello, all c: I go by Kelpie Momma, or Kelpie for short. I am a very avid fan of kelpies. The water horse spirits, not the dogs though they are cool too. I am brand new on Subeta and hope to have a great time, even though I do tend to flit around from site to site. I am 19, work full time, am going to college, and am as lazy as can be expected. I have a horse, a cat, three (kind of four) dogs, and six fish. I unashamedly still live with my parents, and I am still kind of coming into myself. Only about a two years ago I realized a friend I had known since elementary school was abusive and cut them off, so I am recovering from that in regards to my self-confidence and such. My interests include drawing (traditional and digital), writing (mostly fanfiction, when not for school), reading (Watership Down is one of my favorites), riding (Horses are my passion!), and roleplaying (Warrior Cats, mostly, but also original characters c: ). I have gotten in the habit of using a lot of "letter faces" (uvu , ouo, o0o, etc) so if you don't like those when we're messaging, please let me know so I can remind myself about it c:. I am sure I can ramble on but I'll try to keep this short and sweet.
Given as I am new I am still a bit confused as to the whereabouts of everything. Some stores, where to find quests, etc. I was also wondering where we could place suggestions at, for new animals or things like that. Given as I am new and still trying to figure everything out, I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions in the future. As this is only my second day, though, I'll leave it at those two x3
Thank you for reading and I hope you're all having a great day c:

Welcome to Subeta! Really nothing wrong with still living with parents, I can't imagine being in college/work and feeding that zoo by yourself! I'm intrigued by the kinda fourth dog? :P
Quests are all over the Subeta map, but an easy way is to add the Quest widget to your sidebar (You can do this via Personal > User Dashboard > Widgets > Add Widgets: Quests
Some of the links below might help you too :) And there is a suggestions & ideas forums towards the top of the page, though if you ask around people might be able to help you as there are also lots of existing items that might be close to what you are after :)

The kinda fourth dog is supposedly my brother's (registered to him and all) but he's with my parents and I 24/7, so he's basically ours. Feeding them is easy, it's paying for it that's difficult xD
That will be so super helpful :o I'll do that right away then.
Thank you for all the help x3 It's going to be nice not fumbling around... completely xD
welcome! I really like kelpies too! I'm a huge fan of anything involving water actually :) I used to ride horses until I had a bad fall and broke a bunch of stuff. What style to do you like to ride?
I discovered kelpies about a year and some months ago and I've been... reasonably obsessed since eue"
I've had a few falls but my worst was probably falling in front of my horse when he bucked me off and getting kicked in the head a couple times. Thankfully I was wearing a helmet and he moved out of the way quick :)
Primarily I ride English, but I also do a bit of Western and... anything I can get my hands on, really. I adore riding bareback but there aren't exactly any competitions for that xD I've participated in a few playdays at my barn, but since my horse was trained English (jumping, but man he's a mess right now because he does nothing but run at them .-.) we're working on training for English shows c:
@ KelpieMomma they are a great thing to be obsessed with hehe :) Wow, that fall sounds bad! I'm glad you were okay! I ended up fracturing my spine and breaking everything in my arm. Maybe one day I'll get serious with riding again but for now, not so much lol. It sounds like you really know what your doing up there! I did a little bit of both too. Usually I trained in English but my trainer owned a fabulous western pleasure show horse that I jumped on every time I could. He was so amazing. :) Smoothest thing I've ridden on!
