Hello everyone! Call me Kassy :-) I am a member for a month now, but I guess this still counts as newbie? I started to play after I moved to a new apartment with my husband when he started a new job. Now I have to find a job myself, but wasn't lucky yet. To kill some time I started playing :) I've been active at the writing forum, since I love to write stories for my pets.
A short introduction:
- 25 years old
- from Germany, living in Bavaria
- studied German language and literature and Japanese at University
- loves to read and to write (
- likes the Pokémon games, but knows only Gen 1 and 2. Started to play X, but it's still unfinished
- likes to work out and to go for daily walks
- started to like traveling

There's actually some obscure thread over in Chit Chat that we're supposed to be using when we're looking for friends. I'm sure our local MiniMod will be over soon to let you know. Because, yeah, finding new people to talk to should be harder and not easier.
I'm Gray, by the way, and I live in Sweden. Nice to see more Europeans here. ^^
Welcome to Subeta! The community here is pretty accepting, if you are interested in the shoutbox, don't be shy to introduce yourself! A lot of users know each other from just seeing each other's presence on the site, but that doesn't necessarily mean they object to meet new people :)
Unforunately is correct. Each board has rules stickied to the top of the board to help keep them tidy. One of the rules for Welcomes is that it's not the place to make "friend seeking boards". There's a Friend-seeking thread in Chit-Chat for that purpose (see below), as it's not only new users who are looking for friends!
If you would like to change the subject of this thread to just a plain introduction thread I would be happy to unlock it for you - but in the meantime I am going ahead and closing this. (Don't worry, there's no penalty for this!)

No worries, hope that doesn't alter your perspective of the community :) We try to keep forums tidy so that once you are familiar with how the boards are, it should be easier for users to find specific threads they are looking for c:
