here is my rough sketch of the dress.
im considering doing the shading myself since i have very little $$ to work with. cant afford artist recolor fees, ya feel me? honestly i dont even know..
can an artist just do lineart for a discount since they arent doing a whole cw? -if an artist WERE to do just lineart, would that be an artist+artist type deal on the cw submission page? should i just shelve this until i can afford to hire an artist for the whole shebang? sigh. i am lost.
any suggestions as to what to do, who to talk to... anything really.. it would be greatly appreciated

You could probably find someone to collab with on this item for sure. For each artist you work with, it would be different, but here are a few options I think you could offer / consider;
- Consider the item a collab, buy the person who helps you a copy of the item and give them a % of the profit. (In this case since they'd be doing all the line art, I think 30% profit would be generous! Or instead, you could offer a copy of subsequent recolors that come from this item instead of profit and see what they prefer.)
- Consider the work you need done as a commission, pay them a fee for the work they're doing. (this will be different for each artist, but should be cheaper than paying for the entire thing done. They may also want a copy of the item that directly results from the work they've done.)
Personally if you just need the lines done, I wouldn't mind assisting myself, probably for the first option (collab, and I'd just want copies of items instead of payment / profit percentages) if that interests you.
