It seems the Eggplant has turned in to a Mysterious Eggplant and now we have a new Eggplant.
renamed Eggplant is now named Mysterious Eggplant
New item Eggplant
Not really sure why the old eggplant is now mysterious, maybe a member of staff will pop by and enlighten us.
The new eggplant art is very pretty though.
I have the pet Eggplant XD looks like i'll have to add regular ol' eggplants into his TC too.
[tot=Ninja]
- I know it's very weird.
They could have kept the first one the same and named the new one Sliced Eggplant. That would make too much sense though.
Edit: Or they could have called one of them Aubergine.
Isn't the Mysterious Eggplant coming from Ikumoradeekanox? If so the name makes sense, it's a mystery to me at least how an eggplant does not grow from an aubergine/eggplant seed.
Maybe it has another veggie inside it and that's why it's so mysterious.

Since the new one is an artifact, it must be coming out in the Shengui Guo Marketplace soon. Not quite sure why the old one is "mysterious," but 's reasoning makes some sense. XD
Well, now I want both eggplants.

Well of course that won't happen, because then it wouldn't be mysterious anymore. We may never know. x-files song
Yups, it's part of the rotation like and
And yeah, I think Edge has it right, it's mysterious because it comes from the I tree
HAHAHAH I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN, THE STAFF DIDN'T BELIEVE ME BUT I KNEW IT.
But yeah, changing the name of the newer eggplant wouldn't have matched the other names for the produce stand. The mysterious one is in fact from the space tree! It was either making it mysterious or alien, haha.
"Aubergine" was not considered for the old one?
Description could have been switched for "Sometimes called an eggplant!"
I was told that is the British name version of the item and we don't use that. I FOUGHT FOR THE EGGPLANT, OKAY. It's not a big deal, though! all the eggplants ENJOY
actually this is also what the french use, because this is what I use. I haven't heard the term eggplant until I played Neopets and was like "wow that doesn't look like an egg at all, why are y'all calling this an eggplant?.
So, strange eggplant = aubergine = french thing
Conclusion, the space nomads are actually the equivalent of french people on Subeta
Adriette confirmed for part space nomad
It's called aubergine in German, too. Tbh I always found that "eggplant" sounds kinda ridiculous even though YES I KNOW WHERE THE NAME IS COMING FROM and we have a similar second name in German as well. innocent whistling
my question is: where is the white eggplant or aubergine, or what the name is... so yea, where is the white eggplant? The doesn't cut it >.>
It's ALWAYS been mysterious to me why it's called an eggplant at all. It neither looks or tastes like an egg, though I've never seen the white ones mentioned. (In fact, my gram always called it African squash. Presumably it was imported from Africa, way back when, and not because of the blackish color I hope.) Then again, pineapples aren't apples, nor do they grow on pine trees, sooo..., another mysterious fruit!
