Hi everyone! Well, I'm new to the 'battle scene' and I have seriously no idea where to start off. It's kind of like a foreign language to me if I just jump into it by myself. So I'm making this, in hopes of having skilled battlers teach us newbies.

So please, leave tips for me, or for other newbies that are reading this!

• train train train! at the training centre
• do battle quests even if you can't get very far at the start
• do shinwa quest for a chance to get boosters
• read books to your battle pet(s)
• weapon guide for each tier

Thank you! Unfortunately, I only trained my pet once the other night, and it's only at level one, wah! I tried battling, but it's saying my pet is unhappy? I fed him, but I'm confused how to get his happiness up. Anything tips on that?

if you give your pet a toy, its happiness will be raised. but if you give them a minion, their happiness won't ever drop :)

try give a minion to your pet.

Give your pet a minion, it'll take your pets happiness to ten soon and it'll stay there forever.

Thank you guys for the suggestions! Is there a certain minion I should give him? And how long does it take for his happiness to go up?

nope, just pick one you like :P if you play with your pet with a toy, it should go up right away, I'm not sure how long minions take it to raise.

Haha, they should be! They seem really useful. I bought some of the weapons that are classified for tier one, but I'm not sure which ones to use at the moment.

I currently have the weapons on me are; -Battle Wheelchair -Bronze Quill -Fire Blade -Gold Helmet -Item Hunters Shield -Purple Love Shield -Wrought Iron Pumpkin Catapult -Krad Bomb

the quill is a decent healer, and the bomb is a decent bomb for tier 1. try not to worry too much, you'll outgrow tier 1 soon if you keep training.

for weapons, I generally just look at here and here but that's mostly for lower tier stuff, since my knowledge of lower tier weapons is lacking.

Okay, I'll look through that right now! I just fought my first opponent which was the Aboxalypse and won! It kind of sucked though, because all my other weapons broke so I was using my fire blade the whole time, which took forever since it only took 8-16 points off each hit D:

well aboxalypse doesn't actually do damage, so as long as you attack you'll win xD congrats on your first win though! :)
