I think it's a group effort? You need to beat 10 levels to do your part and move on with the plot, and after that the bar shows community progress. It's probably not moving much because people aren't playing the game very much?

At least that was my understanding, but it's not very clear.

There's a different bar on Pete's page like the one that Charity had. I'm mid-game though so idk if mine will fill when I finish but I'll edit this when I get that far [edit] Lost at lvl 40, sent my score, and my bar did not move

Same here..And are we supposed to be doing anything with the Recycle Beast? I know he doesn't talk or anything but Charity did mention him as well.

- That's the bar I was talking about. I just refreshed a few times and checked the CSS, and I saw it move from 12.1433% to 12.15% to 12.17%, and I haven't played for several hours. I'm 90% sure it's a group effort and it's moving extremely slowly, but it does seem to be moving.

Edit: And the number matches up with the bar on the news page.
