so, i'm pretty new to battling and training. a couple years ago i adopted a pet and then realized he actually had pretty good stats (level 82, ~200 in everything else, tier 3), but i didn't really care that much because battling never interested me. but now i'm trying to get into battling, just a little, and i'm wondering:

what is the most efficient way to train a pet? like, should i use the training center up until a certain point, then use exp, and then boosters? or should i do the training center AND spend exp now while the costs are still low? any advice?

use exp as you go. EXP costs go up when you reach different tiers. always use the training center, no reason not to. boosters... you can use them when you're close to a new tier and you get impatient, or if you just want to get stronger. there's never really a right time to use these, it is completely up to you on that.

thanks, that's sort of what i thought, but i wasn't entirely sure if it was considered wasteful to spend exp at this point when training in the tc doesn't take as long as it will later on. and i know i shouldn't use too many boosters at this point because i've seen enough people complaining about absurd training times because they boosted too much too soon.

well if you boost too soon, at least you now have the advantage of being stronger and you can earn more exp from battle quests. it balances out.
