i scratched a maleria scratchcard and got 6x 1000 which technically equals 2x the 1000 prize. i only got one prize of 1000, not 2x 1000. (i know, it's just 2k, but still, it's the principle - what if it'd been stats? there!)

see screenshot

i don't know if this is a bug, but nevertheless i figured it should be fixed somehow. e.g. either give out both prizes or make it so there's only one chance to win per scratchcard to avoid confusion.

This is intentional. You can only win 1 prize per scratchcard just like one in real life.

ah, real life. nice.

how about just making it so you don't get stuck w two prizes, as suggested as fix. would hate scratching 6 winning spots, one lesser prize and one larger, and getting the lesser because real life. or would one automatically get the larger prize over the lesser at the very least?

if we're going with the real life argument, you get all prizes on scratchers that you win. if you win $1 in one spot, $2 in another, you win $3 total.

Soph is correct. You would get the larger of the two :)

that's what i thought as well.

that's something at least. but as just mentioned, one gets both prizes irl, too. so. not much for the rl argument, i suppose. still, would like a) to either get all winnings (preferably), b) or the chance of winning twice removed from scratchcards altogether, as said previously, to avoid confusion like this.

I kinda just wonder what the prize hierarchy is. Jackpot > item = stats = coin = ? > 15k > 5k > 1k? I'm not sure how it works if you matched 3 items and 3 stats, though I don't think I've ever done this.

damn, i'd certainly hope stats are considered 'better' than w/e that coin is as well as 15k. but yes. another good point. i'd like to keep my cake and eat it, too, so to speak. if i win sp as well as a stat, or, as luck would have it, a jackpot and a stat. or any other endless combos. it's not just 1k winnings after all.

I don't mind that it's only one prize, but if it were up to me, I'd take stats over all of the prizes except jackpot. other than that, I'm just curious how exactly it works

I'm on a bit of a scratching binge - I scratched three stats and three "mystery/random" and I won the mystery/random.

Other times with straight sP (scratched three of two different amounts), it does award the higher sP prize though.

I just won 9883 sP rather than stats. Even a single stat point for my active pet (tier 12) would have been worth much more :(

I am going to call you in on this. Do you know how the prizes work? I am guessing the system is set up only to give one prize but what trumps what?

Yes, in real life you win all prizes that you scratch. It's kind of bogus to scratch and reveal multiple prizes but only get one of them. If you're lucky enough to scratch multiple things you should get to have them.
