This is a pretty interesting idea, MP. How about something a little vague to start things off: A detective has been hired to follow their client's spouse, said spouse being suspected of infidelity and corporate espionage. These accusations become much more grim when the detective uncovers the spouses affiliation with a burgeoning cult.
Hey! This is really great! And thank you for posting here. I was worried no one would.
I was wondering if you wanted to use this for anything. Like, do you want me to strictly stick to what you've got here with the heavy crime theme or can I mix it up a little? I have a few ideas kicking around that definitely stick to what you've got there but aren't really what you'd expect when you think of them.
So what'll it be: strict crime or interesting twists?
I wasn't planning to use it for anything, just thought it'd be an interesting prompt. Go buck wild with it, Prince.
I came up with these AUs; they're intended for short fanfics, so I'm not sure if you'd be interested in using them, but if you are feel free :) (also, sorry for my messy way of writing these lol) :
here ya go
∙ "We're in a relationship and I believe in soulmates but you don't and now I'm worried about it"
∙ "I have [# of] dogs bu you're a cat person and you hate coming to my place"
∙ "You work at a clothing store and I've already bought so many clothes from you that I have no room for any more but I need and excuse to see you again"
∙ "I'm babysitting my nephew/niece and at the store you tell me I have a cute kid but I promise he/she's not mine I'm actually very single hi how are you"
∙ "We met on the internet and I'm pretty sure you're like my soulmate and now we're meeting in person for the first time and just ohmygod Iloveyousomuch"
(This one's bordering on erotica but doesn't have to include anything sexual):
∙ "I'm your mistress and we have a good thing going but you get feelings for me and I'm not prepared for that"
If you like any of these, do whatever you want with them. If you don't, that's fine :)
I have a short paragraph I wrote sometime ago but didn't do anything with it. "Dawn had brought more than one could ask for, beyond the burning wood and the crumbling hopes of the feast of crows, already she had know in her lurked something which would only mean further suffering to herself."
