Yesterday I purchased the custom item [item2=Dripping Painting of a Radiant Rainbow] I bought it because I loved how it acted as a filter over top other backgrounds. Today I noticed that it no longer acts as a filter, it just blocks out whatever is behind it, even the actual HA skins.

I figured I would ask you about this item, since it's yours. See the top post. Is it supposed to be a filter or a solid background? I bought it yesterday and it was working as a filter and I loved that. Now it's not working as a filter.

It's always been a filter, it was submitted as a filter transparent and everything, so I have no idea why it would change all of a sudden unless it has something to do with the wardrobe edits going on right now.

I does the same thing for me. It always has been a filter and when I submitted it it was 50% transparent like it said for backdrops/filters, so I have no idea what is wrong with it. Maybe because it's a filter in the background section? But either way, it was always transparent so I have no idea why it has a white background in it now.

Edit: UGH I think it's because the male version isn't transparent. I totally thought when submitting it it was, because thats how it looked like on the preview? Is there anyway I can resubmit the male version without the white BG? I don't know how I didn't notice it when submitting, but in the preview it looked transparent. I just looked at the file I had right now and noticed the male version has a white bg.

Yeah. It's weird because this is the first time this problem has appeared and this was one of my first submitted CWs (it was a commission) and when I submitted it, I never had any issues with the male base because it looked normal, so it's weird that all of a sudden this happens. I'm gonna get the artist to remove the white bg because I don't have photoshop and with GIMP it's not letting me save the image as png for some odd reason.

Glad I could help. I grabbed a copy of it from the pawn shop yesterday, had it on my wishlist for a while now, and it was working fine. I was trying it out over top some of my favorite backgrounds. It's a lovely item! I've had issues with CWs in the past and they are usually on top of it when you want to fix something.

Hey, I submitted a ticket with the fixed overlay and Jessi said she'd change it, so if you get a chance to test it out, let me know if it's working now. I tried to change my HA to male but that section of the wardrobe is loading too slowly (if at all).

Edit: It might be a while until it loads or until she changes it so keep trying. I just managed to try it and it hasn't been changed yet but I'm hoping it will be soon.

Doesn't look like it's fixed quite yet. I will keep checking and let you know when it is.

[edit] It's working again! The hover preview isn't working, but the actual item in the wardrobe acts as an overlay again.
