So the Gravedigger game is great! Really enjoyable, and I managed to go a few rounds on my tablet, even. Except I can't submit my score there, of course.

So my question is this: is it absolutely necessary to submit score with 'enter' or a keyboard button? Would it not be possible to submit the score with an in-game button? I realize that Subeta is not and will never be completely mobile/tablet friendly, but this seems like a simple adjustment.

Unless it's really hard to code such a thing, I would really like to see this in future games.

Thoughts?

you say this is a game so take your place
then you set the mask upon your face
my silhouette in the air you trace
and the dagger performs with a start

I'm just going to repost my comment from the other thread because it's relevant here, too:

Real feedback though: It&;s a cute game, but it scrolls sooo slowly. I&;ve never seen this sort of game with a scrolling screen like this before. I much prefer the way Mr. Driller and Snowmuncher follow the character, so you don&;t have any of these awkward points where your character is 4 blocks below the window and you have to wait to catch up.

And there should be buttons to send your score and restart the game. It&;s unnatural switching from mouse-only gameplay to keyboard-only menu control.

This game also has the same issue most Subeta games do, where you can&;t see how many scores you&;ve sent until you try to send one. It would be really nice to have a counter somewhere obvious.

Other than those gripes, it really is a cute game and it runs well enough. I&;m interested to see what&;s added in the future.

I also just found out there are only three maps to play on, which killed the replayability for me. True procedural generation could have made this a pretty solid game.

Yeah, I just noticed this as well. It kind of cuts down on the interest factor.

YEAH... i noticed the maps thing? I wasn't sure how many but it's p obvious there aren't a lot considering i kept playing the same ones. i'm assuming they'll add more, seeing as they also plan on adding a harder mode.

Seconded!

And please allow to switch off the music on the start page. Like this you have to start the game in order to switch it off.
