I didn't even know the auctions were gone. I knew that there was some discussion about removing them several months ago, but didn't know for sure that anything had been decided. Huh. Was there ever anything in the news or posted anywhere else about it?

Anyway, yes I agree. If the auctions are gone, then all reference to them should be gone as well. Otherwise it just looks sloppy.
