Ok, so ive never made a custom layout from scratch before. So its probably totally noob quality, but i'd like to know what you guys think of it, in the terms of it being my first!

I am by no means an artist, so this layout was made from free brushes i found throughout the interwebs.

You can find the layout here since i cannot currently look at my own profile to code the layout.

Thanks for the feedback!

It looks cute enough to use for your first profile.

thanks, i actually decided not to use this layout, i made Zandiers layout instead, i know there are a few errors in it (the bats are supposed to be in front of the DIV box, not behind, same as the tree) but ill be fixing those pretty soon. I feel like his layout turned out much better than the one listed up there so i decided to make my own profile layout at a different time when ive played around with PS more :)

You should check out some Youtube videos on the refine edge feature, that would help you out with the white that is around the branches and twigs of the tree. :)

well, i actually did that on purpose. The tree was just a 'silhouette' brush that i found (im not an artist, at all lol, so i use brushes) I wanted the tree to look 'cartoony' like the pet image does, so to solve this i added a glow to it and turned it way up, which is how it went from a silhouette to something that resembles a cartoonish tree. But im all about learning new stuff on PS so ill definitely check them out! Thanks for the advice!

[edit] i totally get what you mean now about the refine edges! That rocks! Thanks for the advice, this will allow me to still have a cartoonish tree while maintaining much less of a 'glow' around the tree.
