It would be wonderful if we could go to a user profile and to click on "send a gift" and it will send us directly to the gift center page and the username will display automatic inside the box. This way - no more mistakes no more copy-paste and panicking that the gift was sent to the wrong user.

Also, it can be nice to have it under the HA on the forum if possible/need :)

Would it just automatically select a random wrapping paper for you, or would there be a prompt beforehand? Because the only problem I see with it is that you have to select a wrapping paper before the page where you type in the username.

I have definitely wanted one of these buttons in the past though

I've always thought that after you enter the username of whom you're sending the gift to it would toggle and their user headshot would show up next to their name which would then looks like and obviously an X next to it in case you need to edit it.

Yes you are right about that, maybe it can come as a drop down (like when you reply to a comments) and you choose the wrapping paper? or simply on the same page? I never understood why this step is on a different page when they can make everything in one page..

idk I kind of prefer it how it is because there are so many kinds of wrapping paper and you kind of need to be able to see it to pick the right one

Eh, I'm not really against this - I just don't think I would use it. Its a decent idea, but again, I don't think I would use it.

I can see the benefits in this, especially if usernames still get filtered by the chat-speak part of the bad word filter (so "gurl" would be filtered to "girl", meaning you could send the item to the wrong username) ;)
