I'm getting a strange black banner on some pages that says the following:

"Cookie Policy" is a link that leads to a non-Subeta site... it's actually leading to a site I've never heard of, so I'm not going to click on it or anything.

For what it's worth, I'm using Google Chrome, Version 44.0.2403.125 (64-bit)

I also just got this banner, also on Chrome.

What the heck was this shit. I COULDN'T FINISH READING.

The black banner also appears in Firefox.

I got it too, in Firefox (on the Account Search page if that makes a difference?) Mine stuck around though, so I read it but I didn't think to copy and paste the message. I did click on the link and it's just a lot of legal jargon explaining that we're allowing Subeta to use cookies through a third party or something? idk it's too early for this shit

It disappears really quickly, which is why it may be weirding people out a bit?

I got it as well on google Chrome. Since I'm already aware Subeta uses cookies i didn't attempt to check the link. Seeing the reply above , I thought I'd mention that the banner stayed put for me until I clicked on the game/page I was on.

I agree that it should have a quick site update ping. It really threw me off since it was a huge black bar. Most cookie notifications are a fraction of the size.

It's been a law since 2012 in Europe that websites that use cookies need to alert their visitors about this. So Subeta is sort of 3 years too late with this. I was kinda surprised that we suddenly got it but I knew what it mend so I just clicked and lifted my shoulders.

But I suppose people from other continents might freak out.

Too late lol freaked and came straight to forums to see what the hell was going on! Don't know why any site would have to show that each visit but hey what am I to know I just use the site not run it or have to worry about those things. Just hope that checks it out to make sure all is legit and does a notification for other users.

I also got this and I was very startled. Will it come back? I didn't get to finish reading it because I accidentally scrolled so thanks OP for pasting what it said. As long as Keith is aware of this and it's nothing malicious that's fine right? But I think there should be an announcement that this isn't something bad. I just woke up, combined with it disappearing quickly, I was pretty freaked.
