A heating and air conditioning shop. .. still working? Maybe a little strange, but in California mother nature is a -FEMALE DOG- why not a little a/c pick up during the summer and maintenance during the winter? Working for your family can be hard, but surviving together just seems easier.

(I'm actually not sure if I should put a limit to the direct family or if it should be an open option) There's only six members; two parents, four siblings. (Of the Direct line, who own the shop) Grand parents, cousins, nieces and nephews are up to you. Even though its built with the blood sweat and tears of family members, other employees do exist. No number limit on that, however do be realistic(there's not that many survivors in your average zombie apocalypse that want to spend meaningless time with a job.)

Positions taken by mods, Dispatch, Boss, One of the seven technicians, and I'm debating on the Accountant.

I also want to discuss what Exactly our company is doing during these hard times. In the shops general vicinity we provide complete protection and coverage from the zombies not only do we maintain electricity in our little area, but we keep the streets clean and clear the father of the shop has engineered sweepers to go along and take care of those disturbing ankle biters (caution do not leave your home during these hours), we do run errands for all our costumers for example; mail for those to communicate, we deliver goods, and we trade necessities with all our neighbors so that we may all survive together.

I take it are mechanical? robot thingies? I'm guessing here >;> If so we should make it easier for our buddies to get past them someway.. If we want to put them into the rp, maybe? or we don't have to touch them, just give us a time that we don't use a certain street. I.E: the south side street is closed during night time hours. The west street is closed during morning hours... And the north Street will always be open? or something. You should give us a little map of the area so we have a better understanding of our surroundings. (I know I'm asking for a lot, but I'm sure it'll be worth it <3). And how are we going to go about our borders? how do we know we're safe from the zombies? are there open streets or pockets zombies could crawl through to get to us? how are they coming into the town what's the reason for the sweepers if everything is blocked off? or is anything blocked off? are we wide open for attacks? Lets get our brains working before the zombies find other uses for them lol :'D I'm here to help.

Okay it's done. Hmm, As for plot... Maybe there's more to this town then I had in mind? Maybe there's a reason its still working? like the mayor isn't exactly who we thought he was.. dun dun duuuun!!! o.o'' ;P I don't know.. lol Maybe its the military that's behind it. Trying to raise fallen solders to continue fighting/or to have less casualties, but it go air borne and horrible things happened after that.. ?

K, I like either one; Military bringing it upon us, or Mayor is evil. But maybe it's both? Oooe, and then we can tie your military background character into it, like he's there to protect everyone from the real zombies, but he's suppose to be the silent in the background kind of guy who observes the town. we want it to get dangerous, but we don't want deaths. and then if someone doesn't "flee" the town military picks them up and takes them away, so they can't expose the truth about the town. 03o;; Idea!

Like maybe this is all just an 'experiment', maybe zombies aren't any where else, but this little 'zombies' town? Kind of like how you may watch survival reality t.v. and we get to watch the fat guy eat worms and cross over the icy or desert plain to get home? Or like the other survival tactics show's where you have the caveman technology and then you have the advance race technology and you see which one is braver or smarter or who can actually get this task done, type thing. Maybe its something like that.. like we have no idea this is all fake? per say, then we can also tie my characters background in it as well; though it may be military expo, it's actually my guy who designed and funded this program. Because he does enjoy experiments and survival tactics.. :} Hmmm, maybe?

Well it would explain why we still have power, and why this town hasn't been over run... And why our characters are even here ;P

We should have it where even though this town is a suburban area it's still a space that's isolated from the world. (maybe it's a huge town, so we can still go out to scavenge, but pass a certain point you can't go any further)

Ummm... I'll definitely go ahead and design a little map so toodles~ gotta go and make it first... maybe the town is just a 30 min drive from the rest of civilization, but due to some of the beginning survivors leaving the town and never making it back, keeps these home bodies in their place so they don't go beyond the 'city's limit'.

Brain storming - Okay, so first needing to figure out if getting bit is a death sentence! I hope that it's not, it's dying that actually turns you... and second I think what we have written so far is the before fact, you know before the owner of the air conditioning company takes over and tries to make the place a little more habitable. :) ([-viola] )

So! I think biting should plant the "infection" or something that when the human dies, they will turn to a zombie. If that makes any sense at all! What do you mean with the second part? Is it something like the town is kind of inhabitable before hand and very smoggy? Then the air company kicks in the make the air cleaner? Or what? I'm kind of confused. :p

lol nah, nothing like that C: The 'boss' of the company just takes over and gets the remaining survivors 'organized' tactical training, ways to avoid the undead, type deal. It's just we haven't seen or spoke about the family that 'Saves' the town so I was thinking that maybe what we're writing about right now is the before parts, before the family takes over and tries to save everyone, or it could be the development into saving the town. Like 'our' characters influencing the family to take charge type deal xD I hope I clarified that a little :P I really Love that idea though! For the zombie idea, It's a nice throw on it. [-Viola]

I mean, the zombie idea makes sense logically too me. Basically, the virus is planted and maybe the person who is bitten really starts to worry about what will happen. Maybe they already know what'll happen and debates about giving into the virus by killing themselves or trying to figure out what they can do to reverse it. Maybe they shoot they're brains out? Maybe there's an anti-viral thing? Maybe the virus is only in them for x days/weeks/months/hours and they need to live that long. When they are close to death, they feel themselves slipping into the zombie mode. The possibilities are endless! :)

I love the Idea, yes find a radio! I'm going to have Aedon find the fire fighter trying to get InTouch with someone outside of the city using a radio, so it would make sense for your gals to pick up the feed, and make it a way for us to interact, also I'm thinking because there's a huge storm that maybe the river over flows and a bunch of zombies make there way from the other side? could be a reason you guys need to get in touch with some one who might be able to get you out of there, or use those creepy Raider guys that are storming the town destroying homes and killing people, I mean everyone did get the memo to take shelter at the school after all wouldn't be a reason they wouldn't check out the survivors over there to possibly do misguided things to ... :P

And as for infection, I think it would be a very cool thing to note that those with a weak immune system might turn with a bite attack, but those who have a strong system might be able to recover. Just like any Virus. Lol so it's still the wait and see scenario, and those who 'ACT' on impulse on fear my go hysteric when someone in our group gets bit, because they don't want to 'Take any Chances' [-viola]

Great! Maybe I'll have Annette find a radio where the principle's office is and she'll have to decide to bring it with her back to the gym where Megs is or leave it where she is. Either she'll decide to leave it there and barely remember it if they're surrounded or she'll bring it with and barely catch the end of one of the transmissions from the firefighter? Perhaps I'll make this next post slightly shorter and the next one will be an attack or something. :p

And that's a great point to make about the immune system! It'll be interesting to see who goes hysteric in the group we'll form in that situation!!
