I'm looking for long-haired (and/or braided) unisex or 'masculine' wigs (preferably brownish in color) for a Viking-type HA.

Currently on page 6 of the Subeta wardrobe preview, but I'm worried I'm skipping over things...

If anyone knows of any nice wigs, the help would be appreciated. <3

All I can think of at the moment are the Vetan Braid Headband wigs, although you might find them too femme?

Speaking from experience, the words "male" and "braids" don't tend to mix well here.

(Also, I totally typed out "male" and "brains" but that's another topic entirely and apparently, my brain has decided to take a vacation this morning so I'm one to talk.)

Additionally, "male" and "long hair" on here automatically means femme looking ponytails and waves.

looks in own wardrobe I am on a constant search for any wig that could be used for a male lol. I have personally used these all for male HAs.

(maybe a bit girly, but not super girly imo) [item=Torn Hair Magazine Page: Jules] (I don't think Vikings ever did this to their hair lol) (and recolors... if you don't mind having chalk behind your ear) (a bit samurai, but it could work) (a bit foppish, might not work for a Viking lol)

Not much in the way of braids, but like others said, braid seems to be synonymous with female here.

It can be hard to find, but I think the more important part is pairing it with the right type of eyes or mouth-- what you pick makes a difference in whether or not the hair comes off as masculine or feminine.

is what I'm wearing right now and while it came from a female trunk, it comes off far more masculine to me.

These are also some good contenders I think? The Grave Robber Hair Tracks in particular for a Viking look.

I usually use for my Viking-ish HAs. It's not overly long, but it works well.

Honestly, I think almost any wig can be used for a male avatar if you do it right (or decently...since everyone's definition of "right" is bound to be different).

The one I'm using now is -really- feminine, but I'm kind of making it work, IMO. Have fun, get creative with the more "female" looking wigs/hair styles, and you'd probably be surprised what you find. ^_^

I'll update this post later if I find anything promising, since I have to hit up the wardrobe tonight anyway.
