We'll ignore the fact that it took me way too long to realize that was 'Subeta' spelled backwards and focus on pronunciation...
Despite my instincts to the contrary, I can't help but pronounce it "ate - bus" — as in 'I ate a sandwich on the bus.' I feel like it's maybe ay-teh-bus or ay-teh-boose but it's much easier in my head to just say "ate-bus."
So, how do YOU pronounce it??
... I had no idea it was meant to be Subeta backwards.
I pronounce it "At-uh-bus" myself.

snap i did not realise the subeta backwards thing i thought it was pronounced like ate-uh-bus, like, if you said 'ate a bus'
I'm in the 'ate a bus' category. Although when you say it fast, it doesn't sound as silly. More like 'Ayda-Bus', really.
I thought it was a-TEE-bus, rhymes with "a rebus". Didn't even remember it was Subeta spelled backwards, so given the Japanese origin it would be more like ah-teh-bus... I frequently mangle words so don't take my word for it :s
I've always pronounced it as aah-teh-bus, with the emphasis on the first aah (which is pronounced like the a in cat). I never really considered other ways of pronouncing it, although the others I've read so far on this board definitely make sense too! I wonder what the "canon" pronunciation is.

I never really thought about this before. I've always pronounced it, "At-ah-bus". Or maybe more like "At-ta-bus". Similar to how one would say, "attaboy".
y'know, i feel like i figured out the 'subeta spelled backwards' thing a while ago but then i forgot about it… i've always pronounced it uh-TEE-bus.
I'm another person who had no idea it was Subeta backwards! Cool :)
I pronounce it At-e-bus
Ate-a-bus.
But now I've thought about it too long-that every way sounds weird and wrong :p
I'm the same at . I pronounce it at-ta-bus.
An-tee-bus
Man, I don't think I'm even pronouncing this correctly. I mean, Atebus has no N.
