So I logged on to find that my HA suddenly had one of the default sets of eyes layered behind the wardrobe eyes that I was using. The default eyes were not on my HA when I originally made it a couple days ago. So I went into the old wardrobe first and it is set to Enamored (thank you Masq) and has no eyes set and saved. So I went to the new wardrobe and it has the Aya default eyes showing, even though they aren't selected. When I try to choose any other set of eyes, they won't show in the preview and the Aya set won't go away, even if I select and save another set.

Edit: You can no longer see it on my HA, thanks to LollyPop963549's fix.

I had this problem earlier, too. If it's alright to post my solution here, it just appears that the only expression/emotion you can set your HA to right now is Happy. I just switched my Enamored settings into my Happy ones and it's working again. Which y'know is still an odd bug relating to the new wardrobe, but it's presently fixable I think.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I just got on today to notice my HA is messed up. Avatar section in wardrobe isn't loading for me and beta wardrobe isn't working for the default eye changes, so I'm not sure how to fix this.
