NOTE: NO PINGS. I'm subscribed to this thread :3
I'm trying to get some personality building stuff going on, so please ask questions to or about my characters and I'll have them respond appropriately (or inappropriately, if the question calls for it). A couple of rules:
Permanent Characters - OCs
Marina Seacrest
Marina is around 18 years old, smaller in stature, and slender, with strength built up by years of martial arts. She is a mage and a swordfighter, with an affinity for water magic in elemental magic settings. Her skin is pale, and her hair is pure white, thick, long, and straight down past her waist, parted off-center. Her eyes are cyan. She rarely wears makeup. She tends to wear white, silver, cyan, teal, and other variations of this color scheme. She is more of a tomby than a girly girl, but likes to wear dresses. She is friendly with a short, irritable temper and a strong sense of loyalty. She isn't above having fun. She is insecure about her appearance, however, despite her apparent confidence, and she likes confirmation and validation.
Zoe Hecanos
Zoe is half empousa, quarter witch, quarter vampire, and all sass and temper. She uses her temper to disguise the fact that she cares easily and deeply about the people she meets, which has not turned out very well for her several times. As an agent of Nacht, a supernatural business whose agents deal with supernaturals who threaten mortal, supernatural, and immortal security, she uses her talents as a bloodmage; blood is a conduit for her power, and since she uses her own blood the most often to wield her magic, she heals very quickly and is all but immune to that pain. When she loses her temper, however, her heritage betrays her normal-seeming appearance, giving her literal flaming hair and a pair of skeletal wings that would never sustain flight. Her skin is pale, sometimes smeared with old blood and usually marked with fading scars, particularly on her arms; her bright orange-red hair is slightly wavy and falls down to her waist; her eyes are a bright, venomous green. She is tall and lean, with lean muscles rather than bulky ones, and tends to dress in all black. She hates skirts and dresses, but her choice in tops can be a little risque.
Hael T'chaxiel
Hael has sea-blue hair with a white ombre and a cyan streak framing her face. She is a tiny little spitfire who guards her best friend, Taza, fiercely, since Taza seems to attract all kinds of attention, from sketchy perverts to jealous queen bees. She keeps her straight hair short, just past her ears, and refuses to even consider wearing skirts unless she has leggings or pants on underneath; her style is very punk, only without as much black. She favors sea-blue (in various shades), white, silver, charcoal, and black clothing, but you'll occaisionally see her in something purple (and too big for her) that she has swiped from Taza. She talks big, and acts on her words (or gets Taza to back her up). She is a consummate artist, and defines sarcasm and ass-kicking as art, in addition to more traditional art. When she is angry, her skin takes on blue stripes, and their subspecies drop fangs when they wish to, much like snakes.
Taza Roharien
Taza is tall, willowy, and cheerful. She is a cheerleader who refuses to deal in gossip and drama, and also refuses to conform to social norms. Her talent for making friends balances out the fact that she isn't a stereotypical cheerleading captain, and she holds her own in the cuttthroat fashion world without becoming a sellout. She and Hael are both of the same nonhuman race, although they look mostly human. Like Hael, she also comes with a secondary skin, as in when she gets angry, purple and cyan stripes appear on her skin. Of course, that doesn't happen very often. Also, Taza doesn't get fangs unless she's really really super furious, at which point fangs are the least of your worries.
Amphitrite
Amphitrite is a fragment of the ancient Greek goddess of the same name, who has since faded and is no longer as powerful as she once was. She exhibits mastery over water and water-dwelling creatures, with a temper that flows between serene and violent, like the ocean she was born in. Her skin is very pale, and her hair color is a constantly- shifting mix soft gold, silver, white, and blues. Her eyes are large and dark, and she wears elegant dresses that harken back to ancient Greek dresses, although with a more Victorian influence.
Wednesday Darling
She's a bit of a mystery. She has no vocal cords and is blind in her left eye due to a long scar that cuts through her eyebrow and down to her jaw on the left side of her face. Oh, and she's a telepath. Other than that? No idea.
Temporary Characters - Current Stories Some of these may move into the Permanent Characters category if I decide I like them enough :P -None right now-
