Hello! I'll be honest, I'm not really one to socialize on forums much, but I see I need 100 forum posts to get access to the Blue Building, so...

A little about myself: I'm in my cough, cough late 30's. Happily married to a fantastic man, and I have one teenage son. I may have in the last year fell into a crazy cat lady role while trying to do a good deed and rescuing a pregnant stray outside our house. My 3 kitties became 8 and now my life revolves around fuzz. We love and adore them, even when they are determined to wake us every morning at dawn and leave an inch of hair on everything we own. We no longer find dustbunnies under beds and stands. We find dustbeasts that threaten to devour our vacuum. We never want for an affectionate snuggle though, and what more can a person ask for? :)

8 cats is a lot, especially when they're as spoiled as ours are. In fact, I'm pretty sure the cats have as much furniture in our house as we do, and my floors look like we run a daycare for kitties with toys all over the place. LOL

Their names are: Sara, Nala, Bo, Peach, Mr. Plush, Mr. Bean, Cobbler, and Calvin. However, they all come running if you just shout, "Here kitty, kitty, kitty!" That's the call for their nightly treat. Well, it used to be. Now a couple of them can tell time and every evening between 7-7:30 they start pacing back and forth waiting. The rest can identify the specific sound of their treat containers and come running the instant they hear that. It's literally a fuzzy stampede. :P

I only have 2 cats (Spooky & Smokey) and already find huge dustbeasts under my bed (and under the sofa, the tables, in the kitchen, in the hallway...) yours must be huuuuuge! 100 forum posts should be easily reachable!

Welcome to Subeta! Your babies sound a lot like my fuzzy white lap commando. He can tell time better than I can. Haven't needed to set my alarm clock for several years now. Gotta love 'em.

He's really cute! His tail looks like a helicopter blade. If only he could get that lift off he so obviously desires!

I have pictures on my phone, but frankly I'm too lazy to transfer them and figure out how to post 'em. :p I'd usually leave that stuff up to my husband, and he's away on a business trip this week. Sorry!

I'm trying to get to 100 posts for the Blue Building too! twiddles thumbs I don't have a cat... but I do have a dog with a Napoleon complex.

Heh! I'm guessing it's a small dog? What kind? We have a small bird with a Napoleon complex. (I swear, that's all the animals we have. LOL) She has zero fear of our cats - though we tried to instill it in her the first year and then we just gave up. It was a losing battle. She loves to either try and snuggle with them or chase them off any surface she deems "hers". Fortunately for her the older cats ignore her and walk off and the younger ones grew up thinking she's part of the family and don't hurt her. (Yet. The youngest cats are 1+, but I admit to keeping antibiotics on hand for the bird just in case...) My neighbors must find it amusing to look in our window and see a small bird sitting there surrounded by cats. She likes to nestle in their belly fur and preen them while watching the outside birds. She's a weirdo.

He's a 7-year old lhasa poo named Stryder. He's a bit bigger than a small dog, around sixteen pounds. But I swear he thinks he's a Great Dane or something. He still acts like a puppy though.

Oh my gosh those are such adorable dogs! I bet he's super high maintenance though with all the grooming. I love the "teddy bear" haircuts some of them get. They look like puppies forever.

Lol nah, we just take him to the groomer to get a short cut in summer and let him get shaggy in the winter.

I am not a talker either, but see that I am only halfway there to get access to the Blue Building. I hope it is worth it. I live in Atlanta GA, Neopets refugee, live with 5 cats and 1 dog. All my pets here are named after them (Spike and Elvis RIP), except AuntFlo, of course.

That's so cute naming your Subeta pets after your real pets. I should have thought of that. I mean, who can't imagine a powerful battle pet named Mr. Plush?! :P

BTW good call on leaving AuntFlo out...then again maybe a bloodred pet... cringe

AuntFlo was blood red but not the right species. Maybe she'll zap into another species of blood red. I did keep her like that for a little bit.

Your dog looks like mine, but different color, same size/weight. His name is Drogo and he thinks he is a cat and has too much energy. Good thing 2 of my cats will play with him. I think he gets off on sneezing. I have a Youtube video of them under same username.
