Oh jeez, oh gosh. I'm most emotionally invested in Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers, but oh, Deadpool. Then there's Tony Stark, Hawkeye. I really don't know if answering this is possible. I may just grumble and make vague gestures.

I have recently written terrible Steve/Bucky fics and I regularly read fics. I'm forever stuck in Stucky hell. How do you feel about Cap 3? Are you excited about it?

HAHAHAHA. I like to think I've escaped Stucky hell, but AO3 continues to suck me into the madness. x.x;;

I liked Cap 1 a lot, but I was expecting a little more from Cap 2. It was called CA: THE WINTER FREAKING SOLDIER, for pete's sake, and I feel like it focused more on SHIELD. Don't get me wrong, Natasha and Sam and Fury are freaking awesome, but... WHERE IS THE ANGST I WAS PROMISED????

Cap 3 looks promising, though. :O I haven't read the Civil War comics, but in my shameful Steve/Tony phase I really wanted to. I'm hard to please (Avengers 2 disappointed me, yo) but I feel like it could be amazing.

What do you think? I'm interested in what you have to say about Cap 3. And the franchise in general. :P

You never escape. Not really. Not ever.

Cap 1 was fantastic. Yeah, I feel you there, in regards to TWS; not enough Bucky. But, to be fair, I could have an entire movie about Bucky Barnes and still make that complaint. You gotta admit, what angst there was, it was killer. "'Cause I'm with you, till the end of the line."

I'm both excited and nervous about Cap 3. The Cap movies mean a lot to me, so, of course, I want to see them done well. I want to see the characters given story lines they deserve and I want someone to give Bucky a blanket and a hug. I guess the best way to sum up my feelings about it was my reaction when I saw the first promos for Cap 3: Well, time to plan my funeral.

I haven't gotten around to seeing Avengers 2, but after the first and all the praise that got, I feel like it was bound to disappoint. The bar was set extremely high and I honestly didn't expect them to get close. I've heard mixed things about it, at least from tumblr. Tumblr is Tumblr, though. So, I take those opinions with a grain of salt.

Oh, the franchise. I love Marvel, don't get me wrong, but I feel like there are some things I would love to see in the movies. More Black Widow, for one. She needs her own movie, just as much attention as the other male characters. Same goes for Clint; in regards to Clint, I'd love to see his deafness addressed in some way. Disabled superheroes actually being portrayed with their canon disabilities gives me life.

While I'm on that subject: have you seen Netflix's Daredevil?

Back to Avengers 2: Some of the things I've heard on tumblr were complaints about how Black Widow's character was handled in that film, and that makes me nervous. I can't remember specifics (I'd have to go hunting for them), but your opinion on that interests me.

I'd love to see Nat represented equally in merch, across the board. I don't see a lot of Clint, either, which is really too bad.

Every franchise has flaws, but in general, I think Marvel is doing fairly well.
