The CW world is really interesting and confusing. Either way, I would just really like to find an artist who will help me come up with some specific idea related CW ideas, explain costs, etc, and see what we can do. ♥ That would really be ideal. If I'm not going about this right, please correct me. Thank you so much! -hotfox♥

ok, so there are a couple of ways to go about submitting a CW.
the first way is to "slot" the item; that is, you pay full price (between 2000 and 5000 CSC depending on the type of item) and you can assign various people slots to cover some of the cost. so if you were to submit, say, a dress, it would cost 5000 CSC, but you could assign 9 different people slots (you get 10 slots, but you probably want to keep one copy for yourself) and charge each person 600 CSC. that comes out to 5400 CSC paid by other people, which means a 400 CSC profit for you.
the second way is to submit direct to your custom wearable shop. this costs less than slotting items - the same dress would cost 1600 CSC if done this way, but instead of assigning other people slots to help cover the cost, you pay the 1600 yourself, you receive one copy of the item, and you can then sell however many you want in your custom wearable shop. if you sell it in your shop for 600 CSC per item, every time someone buys one you receive the difference between the price you set and 10% of the "full submission" price (5000 CSC) - in this case, that difference comes out to 100, so every time someone buys the item you will receive 100 CSC. you can, of course, set the price higher in order to make a greater profit from each purchase and recoup the submission cost more quickly.
now, to actually get the item made, you can either draw it yourself, or you can commission someone else to draw it for you. different people charge different amounts for each item - usually 500-1000 CSC per item, but this can vary greatly depending on the artist. if you commission an artist, they will draw the CW overlay (what shows up on the avatar) and the item image (the actual image that the item is represented as everywhere else on site), send these images to you, and then you will upload the images and submit the item. some artists request a copy of the item they have drawn either in addition to or in place of CSC payment, but again, this depends on the artist.
i'd be potentially interested in taking a commission for you - did you have any particular ideas in mind? if not, i might have some ideas.
Thank you so much. You were so clear. ♥ Question, if I wanted to do slots, would I just get slots filled, then submit it and get the copies and such?
I'm going to PM you with my ideas, hope that is alright. ♥

usually to fill slots you would make a topic in the CW forum with the item you will be submitting and the asking price, and people will let you know if they want a slot. once you have enough buyers, you submit the item and you will be taken to a page where you enter the usernames of your buyers and the amount each one will pay. they will then receive a notification that they have been slotted and a link to pay for the slot. once everyone has paid, the item will be submitted for approval and, once the item is approved, everyone will receive their copy of the item.
