3) More pet colors Colors I'd like to see are: Merfolk- turns your pet into a mermaid or merman with the top half of the pet species. I know about Hydrus pets but they aren't really merpeople.

Yeah no, this overlaps with Hydrus a fair bit. In fact, I think that Hydrus' lore is superior to pets-with-fish-tails. Merana's entire story is fascinating, because Hydrus was born out of revenge towards Shinwa. Hydrus has a story. Mermaids...do not, really.

Pets who wouldn't work out with that color

Animal- Gives your pet the coloring or pattern of an animal, for example Tigrean could be orange with black stripes, feli could become calico, Anyu could become panda etc

Again, this cannot work very well, considering a bunch of Subeta pets are not based around animals. Subeta also has a lore that is its own lore, and is getting away from Earth-things. Earth is Earth, Subeta is Subeta

Pets this wouldn't work with

Pokepals- gives your pet the coloring similar to a pokemon lol

Subeta cannot used copyrighted material like this. It would get sued and would most likely have to close, for doing something like this. The Betamon dolls have modifications to avoid this.

4) Sp buyable pet slots example pay 1 millionsp get 1 free pet slot I'm all for more pet slots because as you can see by my pets all 10 of them have characters and designs already and my account is only two weeks old. I want more pets but I love all my pets and don't want to abandon them. But right now I have no RL money I can't buy my own. 2000 csc is an awful lot for just 1 pet slot. If it gave you 5 pet slots it'd be worth it but 2000 for just 1...

2000 CSC is a lot, but 1M is waaaaaaaaaaaay too low for a pet slot. Especially if we bump both free slots, and GA slots to 10 each. I know it sucks, but Subeta does need money, and people (me included) do buy the pet slots for 2000 CSC.

If the free slots and/or GA slots are brought up, I don't see a need to make the CSC slots lower. They sell really well right now, even though their price is no longer affected by sales.

Make more purchasable slots = absolutely. Make the price lower = Eh, no.

Fun fact, pet slots used to be 6000 CSC by slot.

1 million is too much. What about 300k ? I can only make about 9k playing Random, so it will take a lot of random work to reach even that much.

You can already buy more slots with sP. Just buy the CSC from SS and buy the slots with that. I have almost 40 slots and I think none of them were bought with real money.

I understand you want more slots, but as you said your account is two weeks old, you should never be able to have everything you want in that time. There'd be no reason to play the site for more than a month if everything would be so easy to get. Just start saving and you'll eventually be able to get more.

i love the effort. i also love the general matter-of-fact vagueness. I love the assumption that everything suggested empirically and arbitrarily adds to the site being the best. I love that there isn't any justifiable reasoning other than personal anecdote and wants.

You can make about an average of 5mil a day by doing only half of the quests (provided you sell the prizes as well), and they're not that difficult? So with enough time, you can make enough sP to buy CSC with.

There are plenty of people on-site that never spent a penny on this site or released CWs that have bought most or all of their pet slots.

Also, yes, pet slots used to go for a whopping 6k CSC each, and this was before CSC could be purchased. They had those mystical plushies, but let's be honest, how many people are willing to pay $60 and sell it for sP?

If you buy something, how is that "free"?.. A pet slot for 1 mil is shakes head... 100 csc isn't even worth that little, let alone 2000.

Also wouldn't the site be establishing an official sP - csc conversion rate if they made a pet slot buyable with sP? I thought staff wanted to stay away from this?

I bought my first pet slots for 6,000 Credits so 2,000 already feels like heaven, lol. 1mil sP is way to low for a slot, let's say maybe 50-75mil and we have a deal.

It seems like your fairy new here, it might help to spend some time getting used to the site and learning how to make sP.

In addition to all the other things mentioned with which I agree - 1 million comedically low for pet slots, buying CSC with earned sP especially - the pet color suggestions you're making here could be achieved with overlays. You would, most likely, still need to follow the same legal guidelines if you wanted to make a pet look more Pokemon-like, which I believe is 4 or 5 key changes in design so it's not a complete copy. If you do a basic overlay, it will show up only on your pet page, and is completely free. Or, you can do as was suggested for other CSC transactions (since you seem to think that "paying real money" is some sort of injustice rather than the force that drives the site) for a custom overlay, which functionally makes your pet that custom art all around the site.

I have to agree with a lot of what's being said by others, and not just on this thread. You've been on the site a very short time. I'm so glad you are enjoying it here, and it is heartening that you've already set aggressive goals for yourself. Consider, though, that without those goals, this site will not be "the best pet site ever" - it will be instant gratification and no actual satisfaction of having worked for anything. Take some more time to really fall into a regular pattern, and I think you'll be satisfied with your earning capacity to acchieve some of these goals without spending $2 here and there to achieve them.

So, I am all for more pet slots (always will be), but I would suggest that, rather than making a separate topic, you keep discussion of pet slots to the other topics that have already been created HERE for base slots and HERE for GA/csc slots.

As for pet colors, they usually have to be pretty different for people to support them, and as mentioned, they have to work for all species. Plus, pokemon is copyrighted and we couldn't really have that. Of course, you can make pokemon fanpets if you want!

Keep exploring Subeta and earning sP, and you can see the different things and options we have here, and how they can be accessed (pet slots are pricey, but with time, you can definitely save up and achieve more room!). The longer you stay, the more ideas you can come up with for improving the site, so keep thinking of ideas. We always need more suggestions for how to make Subeta more pet-centered again! Just make sure to check other topics to see if things are already suggested first. :)

What I really enjoy about this site is that they don't give you everything your heart desires with zero effort, though lately staff have been pushing to streamline a lot of things. You should probably spend some more time looking at all the stuff you can keep busy with while earning sP :)

You can already basically have much of what you're asking for here because CSC can be bought with sP. No one who makes a concerted effort needs to spend real money in order to play. I've only ever spent a $5 gift card for a custom wearable in all the time that I've played.

I agree that you should spend more time familiarizing yourself with the site and making sP.

There are already plans for pet slots, by the sound of things (and several threads asking for them, you could always give your opinion there).

If 2000 CSC is too much for one pet slot to you, then don't buy them. Sorry that you don't have enough slots for all the pets you want to make, but if it's not worth the cost to you, then it's just not worth the cost to you. If you want pet slots badly enough you'll save up and buy them with sP, or just wait and see what staff has in store. But making pet slots ridiculously cheap for sP is not the way to go about things, even in a limted quantity. If staff were open to letting us earn a few extra "free" slots, that would be one thing, but they definitely should not be buyable directly with sP

I think everyone can get behind more pet slots, but I think 10 via a GA anad 10 to start with is a bit excessive. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing the new base number being 6, and the number from a GA becoming 6 because 5 + 5 = 10, and that's even, but 5 standing alone is so uneven and 6 is so much more aesthetically pleasing.

In regards to the cost of pet slots, it is already astronomically cheaper than it used to be-- and while I hated half priced black friday slots (it undoubtfully caused the site to lose potential money/time spent earning sP to be spent on csc year round) I wouldn't mind seeing slots go on sale randomly once a year-- if it meant people who were capped could also buy these slots.

I feel like pet color suggestions belong on their own board. I don't forsee the pokeidea happening, mostly due to legal reasons but also because it wouldn't leave much creativity for the staff (not to mention Y U MAKE THE FELI MEOWTHESQUE AND NOT SKITTY FFF, and so on) or the merfolk (I feel it's too similar to hydrus), but the animal color has some merit I think. It could make for an interesting color-fill, like an exotic based color-fill or something, though I don't feel it has enough pizzazz to be considered for a reposing.

I have a great deal of pet related suggestions I've been planning to make a board about (or planned to bother and idk mayybe about.. I know y'all love dropping surprises on everyone... some of them are fun and not that much effort-- y'all interested in hearing some stuff privately or would a board be preferred?) (some would be really fun ijs) (I'm probably biased though) so I won't bother posting them all here and derailing the OPs thoughts with my own.

We could do a group chat or something (it's easier to keep track stuff on skype lol), and I like the idea of taking whatever you like to a board-- I know I've at least mentioned the concept of like a "Pet Showcase" publicly before and it had some support so at least there's that xD

Also, I fully support lifting the original start pet slot and GA awarding, even by the 1 (2) that Andrea suggested. There are sooo many pets these days that 5 really is very limiting.
