Hi there ^-^ I am just in the middle of training Linnk, and I am an old neo player so this is why I am asking.... On neo agility didnt do ANYTHING for battles except you were able to use certain items...

Now Im assuming no, but is it there same here with speed? Does this actually help me in battle along with the other stats?

I just want to make sure before wasting my time and sp on the speed like I did on neo xD

Well speed is a debatable stat right now... sadly. On the one hand if you out speed your opponent you avoid critical hits. On the other hand most people often don't bother with speed once they hit a certain tier. It all depends on what build you want in the end. Some weapons rely on speed but there's not that many and most will argue the extra icons in the end don't really mean much.

For the most part I personally train speed on all my pets because I'm OCD and I like keeping it as even with the other stats as possible At least till tier 11 (2k in all stats minus level and intel.)

speed is useful to a certain point. as far as I know, like said, it helps you avoid critical hits from your opponent. 3k is a commonly suggested cap for speed right now. It may change in the future so speed does more, or they may tweak how opponent speed grows or something... so we're not too sure. But for now, avoiding crits can help you survive battles. Nothing is more frustrating than fighting a long battle, doing well, than instantly dying because of a crit against you.

Speed is worthless as is, but they have proposed changes to it.

I would ignore it, you will end being able to BQ much faster by completely ignoring it.

Playing catch up is much easier on subeta that on neopets due to the EXP system.
