Why did you choose your username?

I chose mine because not only is it cute, it's slightly deceptive because it means to secretly conspire.... :O

My username was a 100% random decision. ;o;

Before (aka ~8 years ago) I had a name that I chose because it is also the name of a band that I love but then there was Harry Potter, and a character there had my username as his first name...and since I'm not a big fan of HP myself it was pretty weird to receive mails from fans that thought I'd be a fan, too.

Anyway, to make this short I decided to say goodbye to my beloved old UN and randomly chose Edge instead. Short, easy to type and pronounce and we had a deal, lol. Tried to change it again a couple of times but in the end I always resort to Edge again so that's my personal never-ending love/hate relationship story and some sort of running gag for my buddies.

Well, I'd been stalking the account that had my current username for quite a long time. I knew it was inactive but it wasn't close to clearing. And when the "This account will be cleared on..." sign appeared I got really excited. I saved my loyalty box and used it to change my UN to Greg, which is my real name too. And I'm pretty happy with it. :) My previous one was Bonju, which I also really like. It's because there was a character in Neopets called like that, which had an avatar (the equivalent of achievements, you may say) that nobody could figure how to get. Good times. x)

I think my name is available, but it really freaks me out when strangers on the internet suddenly call me Allison, so I changed my name on my profile to Al, so I wouldn't be as scared. xD

It's my online alias. I saw the name in a book I was reading way back when and took it to use for an OC. When we finally got around to getting a computer and the internet I used Shay instead of my real name.

I used to be Fai since Shay was taken. I didn't even know it was open until I saw a newbie with it post. The couple of months I forgot to check. They only stuck around for a couple of months. I yanked out sp to buy the csc so fast my vault didn't even know what hit it when I saw the account was abandoned.

I think however after I took the name I was being mistaken for the other user as for almost a year I would randomly get little things from the same couple of users. I tried telling them I wasn't the same user but they kept on giving me things. They finally quit only because they stopped playing.

Mine is just my online handle. I doubt I'd ever change my username here because then I'd have to edit some graphics to change the name on it. xD

I watched Interstellar too many times to count now and I love it so much. ;O; There's a character named Murph, which I felt for, so there we go. I'm Murph. c: Before that I was Starlord because Guardians of the Galaxy caught me by surprise (but who knew Interstellar was going to be so nice only a few months later ah aaah ;O; /cries). And before that I was teatree, because I'm addicted to all things tea and since Tea was taken, I went for teatree, which isn't really made up as there's the plant tea tree. Nice smelling and cute sounding. I miss it sometimes. :c

I feel your pain. I had a username that was also the name of a HP character and I kept getting HP fan mail all the time, so I switched to something non-HP. xD

lol I know right? Plus really likes my UN so I'd feel bad if I ever changed it xD

lol It is a bit funny now. Small items, random stickers stuck, dancing and kissing... spaced out over a year so I'm guessing they never got my message.

I felt bad for them then. I think to this day they probably still think I'm the previous user. I'll still be surprised if suddenly they start up again some day.

I kinda enjoyed book one of HP, read the others with mixed feelings and finally gave up after book six. Almost every friend I have now tries to convince me to give book seven a chance but no thank you, the rest of my sanity stays here with me.

I dooo really like your username. Its got a nice ring to it, so much so that as you know it showed up in a dream of mine, or since I don't usually remember my dreams it was more like your username was in my head when I woke up :$ and now we're buds.
