i was trying to purchase some items from the SubQ. i know that there is the 5 minute wait between purchases, so i bought one item and waited the 5 minutes (i set a timer to be sure), but when i tried to purchase the next item, it kept telling me it was too soon, so i tried again a few seconds, and the amount of time left kept saying it was increasing, so it went from 0 seconds to 2, then 10, 22, 39 etc. then i tried again and the item was sold out. i was careful to refresh between tries, in case the item had sold out, but it kept showing there were 2 of it in stock, then because of the glitch (or whatever it was), i missed out. the item was: Professor New Dusty Thistle Top Hat

I moved this to Site Functionality. I have also reported this to the programmers!

This sounds like the issue I was experiencing last August I looked at the date wrong, that was actually an entire year ago now, and I continue to experience it just the other day. http://subeta.net/forums.php/read/795550 It was locked though, for the reason of "deterring autobuyers", even though I think the timer legitimately counting up and disallowing purchase is a real problem. Especially when you've left the Subq completely, clear cache, and try again and again and the timer just keeps going up. (Which is what happened to me the other day)

it's a real pain, especially when i've not had any invites for weeks, suddenly i have 3 (woo! finally) and then couldn't actually buy anything because of it XD

It looks like Reya was saying that it shouldn't actually add the time but according to the OP it is adding the time. I'll go ahead and leave the report open just to check and see what is said.

didn't spot this thread when I made mine earlier, so here's the info from my purchases this morning:
I (patiently) waited for my 5 minutes to purchase a second item from the Subeautique
Oh No! Oh no, you&;ve purchased too recently! You have 7 seconds before you can purchase again.
So I count to 7, then try again
Oh No! Oh no, you&;ve purchased too recently! You have 52 seconds before you can purchase again.
I thought this was a bit odd, but figured maybe the clock was lagging or something, so I tried again.... this then increased each time, until I got
Oh No! Oh no, you&;ve purchased too recently! You have 2 minutes 7 seconds before you can purchase again.
After that, I tried again (waiting about 10 seconds) and was finally able to make my purchase. Yes it did work eventually, but seeing the time increase like that, makes no sense at all!
I do have multiple tabs open (as usual), and it didn't seem to make any difference whether I refreshed the purchasing page, or went back into Subeautique, refreshed that page, then clicked the link to purchase again.
