Bhakorus are unique in the way that you can only get them if you took part in the Saheric Plot.
With the Antique Shop putting old plot items back in circulation, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to go and also put a way of getting Bhakorus in the system, without having taken part in a plot that happened years ago.
While people are more than willing to create Bhakorus for others, it would be a step forward for convenience
Pricing of the item should be up to staff, imo
This would be really nice. Maybe make a note in the description that they can be created if you did the Saheric plot, as a note for users who don't know/a reminder for people who never made one/maybe went on hiatus and forgot
Great idea :D
I'm unsure if I'd like one Essence or an Essence for each base color.
My wallet likes the first option better, my heart (who love shiny things) hopes for the second
Oh god, could you imagine if they came in pretty bottles too? D; Why do you open your mouth
I like the idea of finally opening up Bhakoru creating/morphing to the general public, but I'm not too entirely big on the release of an item to do it. idk, I probably just want a more immersive way to do it, but like I would love for Blake Steele to take advantage of what he has going on his 4 year long excavation (or however long it's been. Are they still doing stuff? I always forget how plots end, but I hate the way it looks on the map, so unfinished with that dumb latter.)
Anyway, I think it'd be great to have him utilize it as a tourist place, charge users a fee to take a look around and let anyone who pays get the chance to touch the crystal. I probably want this as well since it is one of my favorite images on site.

I think we were proven to be way more competent with archeology than Steele is. He did pretty much close to nothing in that plot. He was the load all the way.
That, and pretty items :D. So much pretty items
Support!
It'd be nice, because then people who did participate in the plot can still do it for free (as a bonus for having participated), but people who didn't still can get it. It's a good solution.
Many folks here talk about Bhakoru as if they're easy to get for the asking, but they're among the rarest of all subetapets, except the Hippotu and the Experiments. There's something to be said for having a pet that you could only have gotten from some special thing.
If this Suggestion is implemented, I think the price should be very high, like 10MsP.
Is 10M sp very high? That's the price of the cruise hairstyles, which always struck me as sort of capitulating to the lower price brackets. I don't know if I'm hopelessly out of touch with the times, but I would think that a price tag that can be attained in a few weeks time isn't very high...in the case of these pets, I would sort of hope to see the price tag higher than 10M. And that's coming from somebody who did abysmally in that plot and desperately wanted one of the pets, so I'm certainly not saying it to retain some sort of misguided sense of importance. I'd not be unhappy with a 10M price tag, but I also wouldn't balk at paying more.
I hadn't realized bhakorus were still exclusive, so I'm more than ok with any of these suggestions.
This is my favorite though.
Blake be all like

Fuck Blake, he's too chickenshit to map the crypts himself
he deserves to be out a job
if they did this, I think it'd be a good idea to make them untradeable/sellable..just my opinion I guess
Considering the idea is to put them in the antique shop, there isn't a reason to make them no sale/no trade. You can already get Bhakorus via Miracle Potion II, so that would just be...a more specific option to get them
People are already creating Bhakorus for others, the point of this is to remove the middleman, for a (high) price, the same as with stickers earlier this month.
If it's expensive and inconvenient, no one is going to use it, ruining the point of the feature
honestly i think i'd prefer another event that uses bhakoru creation as a prize- keeps it exclusive but pulls in more users who can create them.
this way there's no need to try to figure out a price for them either, just hide them behind an optional puzzle that's difficult to solve.
Any method of making the Bhakoru more widely available is great by me. I really appreciate recent attempts to prevent users missing out on items etc just because they hadn't heard of the site when they were brought out.
Some item or other in the Antique Shop is probably the best method in the long term, although I'd love it if we had another archeo-plot at some stage. Actually, if we could have both, that'd be excellent (partly because if we did have another archeo-plot, I'd like to see it focus on another land, both for the sake of diversity, and because the existing excavation site is a bizarre death-trap).
First of all, I participated in that plot-- I got every single prize from it (including the axe head thingy, that I sold, but that's not the point) including the unlocking the Bhakoru. I did in fact do all the things in relation to this plot (ie: if someone feels uppity about anything I'm about to say they're not going to be able to say I feel this way because it doesn't effect me or some shit).
That said, I absolutely HATEeee aspects of the site that depend on users "not minding being asked to do this!". I hate it, hate hate hate it. No one should have to sit around waiting and hoping for another user to come along and offer a service (selling zombie books, sticking stickers, making bhakoru's, probably other things I'm not remembering off the top of my head). There's zero fun in that, no one enjoys it outside of the person who likes to feel like a special snowflake because their desire to help is what determines someone else's gaming experience.
You can't even create a bunch of Bhakoru's and unleash them into the pound because they all turn into common kumos lol.
So I am 190% against the idea of making people who didn't participate in a plot like 5 years ago pay 10m+ for a stupid elixir to make their pet into a Bhakoru.
I AM 190% in support of every single user having access to the create/change a pet bhakoru magical crystal room so everyone who wants one can have one free of charge. It's been several years, the magic has worn off and it's time for the world [of subeta] to be able to get one if they want one.
I am also in lesser support of keeping the crystal place as is and just having a color-fill set of elixirs created and stocking in the Apothecary so people can get a Bhakoru that way-- however as the person who usually has to wait 49089 years of elixir prices to drop (because I don't create pets, I just reuse IDs always and forever) I knooooow how much this sucks so I don't support it as much as I do just opening up the crystal room place to everyone.
Doing stuff like that = why users stick around subeta. Because the site notices site-design weakspots that support the few having a big advantage over the many (zombie shop, MC rotating stock, this) and fixes it.
Having creation be free isn't a problem to me. I mean, most pets are free to create, so that's okay to me.
Where I'm having issues with JUST GIVE THIS TO EVERYONE FOR FREE is with turning existing pets into Bhakorus.
I'm trying really hard to find an equivalent, but I don't think we have a single way of turning a pet into another normal specie which is technically free, no currency spent. Even Queen Bea requires BB access, plus the items for the quest.
The equivalent of paying something was well, taking part in the 2012 plot.
So yeah, I'm okay with creating new Bhakorus for free, but not so much for turning existing pets into Bhakorus. That, imo, should be paid, either via elixirs, crystals, whatever.
People that took part in the plot should still have access to both options for free
People who didn't take part in the plot should be able to create a Bhakoru, but not turn an existing pet into one.
I'd be okay with that, as long as the creation is free and open for all and the change-a-pet option was accessible even if it cost something or required some effort.
Or creation and no changing and we got elixirs for them, at least.
I mean I know they're different than the Bumbus, but technically if someone joins today and wants a bumbus they can get into the blue building. People can't time travel backwards to participate in a plot to turn their pet into a Bhakou so honestly I wouldn't really care if everyone could create/change pets, but I am annoyed that only those who participated in that plot have access to these pets at all. For some reason I thought this was changed during the cruise thing.
I'd also be okayish with people having to pay a fee to create a Bhakoru (idk, 50k?) or double to change a pet. I mean that sand hole isn't going to pay to keep itself open, y'know (and whatever happens, it needs to stay where it is, not be moved elsewhere otherwise it's just killing the lore of where they came from). I wouldn't mind if only non-plot people had to pay this (assuming it was on the cheaper side since it's BS to make one person pay 5m for a pet species when a huge handful of users can do it for free), or if everyone had to pay it -shrugg-
All of this, 100%.
New players should absolutely be allowed to do both (create a Bhakoru and change a pet), at a price. I don't want to see elixirs released because we already have that awesome crystal in place, which is a fantastic piece of lore. And plot participants should still be able to access it for free, because it's unfair to randomly start charging them for it.
