Hello there, angels!
I've decided to create a topic in hopes of making some new friends and possibly inching myself back into the Subeta community after my long time away. It's been ages since I've been on here, I feel like I don't even know what's what anymore! Anyway, I'd love to meet some new people and get the ball rolling again!
Doesn't matter if you're a new or an old member; the more friends the merrier!
; Thank you! I'm Brinny, it's a pleasure to meet you. :)
; How are you? I just sent you a buddy request. I hope it's not a problem!!
I'm good, just trying to stay cool! How are you?
Not a problem at all! I just came back too, almost a month ago and don't know anyone anymore.
Hi, welcome back! I just joined yesterday but I'm really loving it here so far. c:
Welcome Back. I'm back & forth on Subeta, so I guess you could say I'm still on semi-hiatus. I know what you mean though, I don't really know many people anymore!
Hello guys! I feel the same. I just came from a long hiatus and I don't know anyone too. Welcome back everyone!
I came back to so many replies, how exciting!
; Good! I'm making dinner because I'm absolutely starved and downloading origin as we speak! I have a few friends who have remained active, but we'd never spoken much before. ; That's great to hear! I'm happy you're enjoying it. :) I hope you're learning your way around easily enough! ; Thank you! I'm excited to be back. I spent a lot of my time on here before, but I guess life just got in the way. I'm in break between semesters, though, so here I am! ; This is perfect, we can all just introduce ourselves. Never too late for new friends! It's nice to meet you, and welcome back! ; Thank you! It's nice to meet you. :) Btw, I love the artwork you have there! I'm hoping to get my hands on some artwork as well, once my dream avatar is up and ready!
P.S.: I'm not sure if any of you were the anonymous gift senders who sent me two of the items on my wishlist, but if you did, thank you so much! You have absolutely no idea how sweet of a gesture it was. Made my day!
Welcome back, and hey, I just came back like a few days ago too, haha! It's been a super long time so a mostly dead buddy list is what I came back to. So are you an undergraduate/graduate student? And what are you studying if you don't mind me asking?
Thank you, and welcome back yourself! I'm an undergraduate, entering my second year this fall, and am majoring in Marketing. And you? :)
Thanks! I'm an undergraduate entering my third year this fall, and I'm majoring in Neuroscience. Ahhhh it's weird to say that I'm entering my third year -- time is going too fast and I'm not ready to adult in the adult world ;___;
I feel you completely! I'm not ready to adult either. I just want to stay a kid and have people pay for my meals! :( Now I've got an actual job, and have to pay for things on my own. But Neuroscience! I wish I was any good at science, but I'm trash. The only thing that even remotely interests me is astronomy.
I had a passing interest in astronomy... I like identifying the constellations, but that's kind of the extent of my knowledge in it. All the physicsy/mathy nonsense that you get into with astronomy is absolutely beyond me _
whats for dinner? ;) Origin as in Dragon Age?
and Welcome back to you two too!
I mean it's pretty cool, don't get me wrong! But I can't exactly make heads or tails of it when it gets any more complex than "these are stars and they are in the sky and made of the intense fury of atoms with road rage" and whatnot.
Oh and just a helpful tip, it might help if you ping people putting @ in front of their username when you write on the boards so it sends them a notification!
Thanks!
I'm with you there. Honestly, I could never study it, I just love the constellations. But the actual science behind it all? I can't do it!
A big, ole cheeseburger! I was going to head out and pick up a pizza, but I figured I may as well cook at home tonight. And Origin as in Sims! However, I just got this laptop from someone and apparently it was 17/18 of it's disk space available (with no applications or pics, etc. on it.) so I'm stuck. I've given up on trying to clean it up. I guess I'll have to buy a new laptop myself!
Astronomy is nice, but I could never get into the actual craziness behind physics and how they're formed, etc. But it's always nice to look at! :)
