I'm trying to think because I rarely pay attention to my REs unless it's lizards... I can't honestly say I remember any or not.

If you go to your achievements and search tax you should be able to see how much you've been taxed overall.

there's 2 different achievements, one for overall and one for "at once". Arno received the achievement for having 1mil taken at once even though that didn't happen.

Example my cumulative: 326,032 / 5,000,000

my at once: 123,577 / 500,000

Hmmm. The achievement system is so completely fucked it's hard to know what's wrong or right anymore.

The announcements for achievements are completely wonky. They'll tell you a standard thing, even if it's not the correct announcement for the achievement you earned. When you hit the 1m per tax it'll tell you the same achievement announcement that you just got, I'm sure. You must have just earned the 500k one, which prompted the standard announcement for all achievements associated with that count. It's a bug, but not something anyone seems interested in fixing.

- The achievement when you receive it lists the incorrect amount. This has been happening ever since they updated the achievement system. Looking at the two achievements you posted, it looks like your most recent visit from Sebastian Phoenix earned you the first tier (500,000) of the "Sebastian Phoenix Visit" achievement. According to the "Good Taxpayer" achievement, it looks like you've been taxed a bunch of times, but never an amount over 500,000 sP until today. I hope this makes sense - Toddler screaming turns my brain to mush
