Hi! I'm Sidscoh, but you can call me Sidney or Sid or something else. I'm new here! I've heard of Subeta a couple times over the years on other sites but never got around to joining, but after the debacle that was last night on Neopets I decided to try it out! So far it seems pretty nice, though it will take some getting used to. Anyway. Its great to be on a new site, is so refreshing. I hope to make oodles of friends here and stuff. :)

What happened on Neo? I spent a grand total of 30 min there a few years ago, so I don't keep up. I just noticed the increase in people jumping ship. Not that we mind. ;]

I like starting new sites too, but at the same time it feels more "comfy" on sites you've been a long time on. It's kinda nice not having to struggle with finding everything. So, can I help you with anything or do you have it covered? :]

, what happened to Neo? I left it many years ago but still keep an account. What I likes most with Subeta is the Nice tone people on the forum has to keep. Active admins who is fair and gives You an explanation IF You get a warning for breaking the rules. So please make sure You read all Of them. One thing I Love i Love subeta is how Easy to make money and You Can keep many pets. some people here have 20 pets but ONE account. multiply account is forbidden here.

On neopets they were switching servers or something over night but something went wrong and all the filters went down and the mods were locked out of looking at reports or suspending accounts so there were people who went nuts and started linking to other websites that are very nsfw and putting cookie grabbers on their pages, having very inappropriate conversations, naming pets inappropriate things, and just generally being really spammy and stuff. So the following morning they took down all the boards and user pages and now the entire site is offline. So that happened. But neopets has been going down hill for a while so I decided to try something new! So far Subeta seems pretty awesome! Th layout of things is different from other sites I'm used to but it seems pretty easy to navigate and explore. :3

Huh. I don't even think people would notice the filters going down here... Hazard of heavy censorship I guess.

Have you tried doing quests yet? It's a good way to make a few sP, at least if you try Sarah and later Saggi.

Hello. I just joined yesterday and I also decided to check this place out when neopets when nuts. I don't intend to give up my neopets account or anything, but someone posted about subeta on a facebook page and i thought i would check it out, so here i am

The first advantage on Subeta is that you can convert the cash shop currency (csc) into sp and sp into csc. You are able to purchase expensive cash shop things without spending one real dollar if you want so. I really love this feature. Subeta has a great community and the staff listens to so many things that users are suggesting. Nothing retires forever (except custom wear made by users) and you always have alot to do.

If you ping a user on the forums (like I did with your name by putting an @ in front of your name) you get a notification in your event bar (on the left side of the page) that leads you directly to this post. It's an easy way of communication. Another lovely feature.

I've done 10 of Sarah's quests today, and I got 3 points from it! That is a really cool feature! I've never heard of a site that let you convert between types of currency! And this ping this is pretty cool too.

Haha yes, it makes talking on the forums very easy :D There are also whole forum groups with one to hundred members (with a # in front of the word) which you can join. For items, for art, for nearly everything^^

Converting the currency is pretty easy. There are cards you can buy from the cash shop. This card is worth 100csc. You could buy it for ~5kk sP when you search for it in the shop search and then use the card. Voila, 100csc on your account^^ If you have csc and want sP you would buy a card and sell it. People are also allowed to sell cash shop items for sP which is pretty normal here. Totally different to Neo.

Doing quests is a good start! You can buy things of the quest shops and it also gives a nice sum of sP when you finish the quests. :) If you need anything feel free to ask ;D
