I'm sorry if this has been brought to anyone's attention already--I've had this bug ever since the site switched to having the Pet Spotlight happen more rarely. (The forum search isn't working, as I'm sure you know, and I didn't find a related topic via Google Search. :( )

Every night at midnight, Subeta time, I get the "New News" update at the top of my screen--even if there isn't any new news. I have to check the news page to get rid of it. I assume it was set to happen at midnight every night because that's when the Pet Spotlight updated, but since that's no longer the case every day, it's not really necessary and a little of a bother.

It's pretty minor but it hasn't been fixed yet, so I thought I should say something about it here. Sorry if this is a known issue and I just couldn't find the thread about it!

I'm playing Subeta on Chrome on a 10.7.5 Mac.

I think they left it there to announce the daily potion lottery winner and as a reminder that the recycle beast is asking for new items every day c:
