21 years old. Lives in California.
I find interests in blogging, chatting, make-up, writing, drawing, photography, music, culture, foxes, and many other things.
Generally, loving, weird, ridiculous, empathetic, silly, and caring are some words that could be used to describe the core of who I am.
I definitely used to have a bit more confidence and struggled less with my ability to be friendly. The last five years of my life have been absolute chaos and it has been full of countless traumatic experiences. This being said, I ended up shutting down and hid myself away. However, I have reached a point in my life where I'm ready to come out of that reclusive world and just focus on recovering.
Hopefully, Subeta will be a place where I can build some friendships and escape that introverted world I was stuck in for so long. c: I'm not a very private person, so feel free to comment (don't forget to ping) and/or message me.

First of all, Welcome to Subeta.
I relate so much to this. I used to be super outgoing, and then it was like school (college) really beat me down in self-esteem. It was a highly competitive and overly pressurized small liberal arts college that placed its standards akin to harvard and yale...But if I know anything about breaking points, its that it is not the end when you get there- you just get stronger and what was once a breaking point is a merely a checkpoint in your strength and endurance now. I would love to personally welcome you to subeta and if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you. :)
Welcome to Subeta. I'm sure you'll meet lot's of great people here to help you recover from all of that. I myself have been very shy and had self-esteem / trust issues with people, so I stopped trying. But recently things have been better and it does help to be on a site with lot's of users who you can find similar interests with!
That being said. I LOVE foxes/Owls. It's my Fursona. I also take interest in photography, although I don't have a fancy one, It still takes some nice pictures. but I do enjoy taking a look at others work. :)
Do you do it for fun?
♥ [flower=owl] ♥
Welcome to Subeta! While I have some socialization issues myself, I find this is a great place to open up. There's a lot of really friendly, non-judgmental nice folks to interact with here
hello!!! :0 welcome to subeta!! as its been said above, subeta is definitely a great place to be especially for socializing. I myself dont really talk much, however whenever I do everyone is always very kind and accepting!! I think you will like it here c:
Welcome, welcome!
I think Subeta is a great place for you to become social! I've been here for a little over three years and everyone is very friendly and really creative!
I hope you enjoy yourself and if you wanted to chat about anything let me know!
Thank you. ♥ Sounds like a pretty uptight school. It also sounds like you're no longer there and are doing better. c:
It's good to hear that things haven't been so bad lately. Foxes and owls are pretty fascinating. I suck at drawing them, though. As far as photography goes, I do it for fun and use it as an outlet. I've done a couple of portraits for some people, but not too many paid. c: Since you mentioned fursonas, I'm curious, do you role play? d:
Thank you for the encouraging words. c; I really appreciate it! Hopefully, I will get the opportunity to meet some awesome people on here. Is your birthday today!? :D
Hoo-ray! Also, your HA is basically perfection. JSYK. ♥
Three years! o: That's awhile! Thank you. I think one of the biggest things I struggle with is knowing what to chat with people about. d:

I don't rp very often. But if I'm really in the mood, I do. That sounds fun though. I've always wanted to actually get into photography. then I could try getting some nice pictures of Owls and Foxes. ;p

Oh, you will. YOU WILL. :p I figure I could easily become fairly addicted to this site. Heehe.
I hear you. Feel the same way about rping, usually. d: You should just have fun with it. Go on little adventures. I know you mentioned that you liked to look at other work, so if you're interested, I can show you mine anytime. c:

Welcome! ^-^ subeta is a very good place to come to form an online family of sorts. I have met some of my best friends on here. As you can tell by my post count, I'm not very active in the forums, but just seeing someone that seems to have the same interests as you based on username, gallery, or profile, could lead to a lifelong friendship. ^-^ <3 have fun, enjoy yourself, and BE YOURSELF!
Heh heh, yeah it was. Another year older and deeper in debt.... Still, everyone here was so sweet. So many birthday wishes and lovely gifts! Here's to celebrating another year above the daisies.
Thank you, hon! You seem like such a sweetie. c:
Welp, Happy Birthday! Debt sucks ass. Seriously. Been there. Still there. d: Eventually, you'll get out of it. I hope anyways. It doesn't seem possible to escape debt these days. Yay for being alive! ♥

Shhh, you'll blow my evil, wicked, mean and nasty image. Ha ha, seriously, it is so nice to be able to chat sincerely with people here. Sometimes I just need a break from pretending to care when the hotel guests whine about everything from the air-quality to the wildlife.... Thank goodness I work grave, fewer of them to put up with at 2:00am.
oops! My bad! d: Ew. Way too many whiny people! Big hotel? Agreed. So far, everyone has been pretty accepting and friendly. Unlike some sites I have used in the past. Haha.

Pretty good sized for the north end of Tahoe. We have 422 rooms and a small casino attached. Bit of a bear problem this year what with the drought (In fact there's a big one peering at me through the valet entrance right now) They break into cars that have food left in them and scare the S*** out of the guests. I'd have more sympathy if we didn't have signs and literature everywhere warning the doofus people not to leave food in their vehicles, but the "I have an (Insert expensive SUV here), I'll be OK" attitude prevails. Like a bear is gonna care whether you have a RAV4 or a Range Rover when it's tearing your doors off to get at some marshmallows...
Hahaha. People. They're pretty ridiculous. The bears are no joke and animals definitely become more desperate for food when there are droughts and such. I haven't been up to the North end of Tahoe, but once. I live a couple hours away, but never seem to find my way up there. (Assuming it is the same Tahoe. d;)

There can be only ONE... oops wait, wrong movie. :D Funny how when I lived in San Francisco I never visited Alcatraz. I was a ski-bum when I was younger (before I trashed out my knees) and I fell in love with Lake Tahoe after skiing Squaw once. Lucked into some cheap property back in '81 and here I am. This is a female I call Booger who hangs out in my pond, and brings her cubs to eat the wild berries that grow in my yard. Kind of sweet looking if it wern't for those claws...
Damn. Skiing is dangerous, or so I have been told. I never had the opportunity to try it out. That's pretty awesome though. It's great that you got to move up there and do what you want. Everyone I have met who lives there loves it. Wish it were easier to find cheap property now days. It's so expensive.
OH my goodness! She is beautiful. Yeah, I can definitely admire beauty from a good distance... Haha.
