Hi, everyone! I'm Alex, but you can call me Amsel or anything that really fancies you! I'm mostly here as an artist, and I look forward to getting to know everyone and maybe getting myself well-known in the art forums n-n I'm still exploring and getting used to the site, but I'm hoping I'll really enjoy my time here!

I'm currently 18, and will soon be attending college in the fall to major in graphic design at my dream school. I'm all over the internet as either LittleAmsel or AlexRae, and I'm almost exclusively a human artist. Animals are just hard aha. I'm also a hobbyist writer, and everything I draw is a product of being self taught! Most of my characters come from my stories and roleplays, and I just choose to draw them out. I have a soft spot for demons for some reason, and I'm the proud owner of several of them <3

Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and I can't wait to see how this place is! It seems like a very friendly place!

Congrats on getting accepted into your dream school, and welcome to subeta! There are plenty of art collectors here looking for art of their OCs and pets, so i'm sure you'll fit in just fine and get tons of practice with graphic design. :P The profiles and forum posts are also customizable, so you'll have tons to do if you're willing! :P <3

Oh I'll be exploring all of the customizing things for a long while! Haha I feel like there's so much to learn when you join a new site! The slang of the site will be the hardest thing I bet, haha xD

Can't help you much there, I'm afraid. XD I don't really venture into forums very often. :P I think the only things you really need to know is the name of the main currency (sP = Subeta Points) and the premium currency (CSC = Cash Shop Credits) .. other than that everything that i've noticed anyway is pretty basic. :P there are other special currencies, like wizard tokens, crystals, etc.. which are all listed here:

most of those are obtained by doing special quests or completing special actions around the site. The event currency is obtained either by buying it from the shops (not really worth it) or waiting until that holiday rolls around again and stocking up. ^-^ the event shops keep all of the old event items in stock even after a new year's event items have been released, so if you don't like this year's items but love last years which you weren't here for, you can save for those instead. <3 :) I really love how they run things here.. it keeps inflation in check pretty well. ^-^
