Just curious if anyone else has been having fun on Steam the past few days. I've bought a lot of games, I have a little extra money this summer- should I be saving it? Probably, but, cheap games!

That looks kinda intense when I list them all. I can't help it, there are certain things I enjoy spending my money on, and video games are one of them, even if that's supposed to be my food budget this week. :P I'm looking forward to playing Banished and Hatoful Boyfriend the most, they've been on my wishlist for ages and I kept missing them on humble bundles over and over again. Now I finally have them! I hope they're as great as they look. Also been wanting to play Child of Light since a friend recommended it to me a while ago, it looks so pretty.

What have you bought and what are you most excited to play?

Oh no, Hatoful boyfriend is so fun! Bought it as a joke a few days ago and ended up getting emotionally attached to the birds. Q_Q! I'm most excited to try out the Fallout games and Skyrim (played on console but not PC). Loving L4D2 right now! So far I've scooped up: Skyrim Fallout 3 Fallout: New Vegas Half life 2 Half Life 2: The Coast Hatoful Boyfriend Left 4 Dead 2 (came with beta) NEKOPARA Vol. 1 Sakura Spirit Skullgirls Skullgirls Endless Beta and then someone gifted me Town of Salem! I'm still debating getting a GTA game.. more so just to screw around. Don't think I've ever actually done the missions. :s

The Cat Lady DreadOut I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream LYNE The Secret World

I've been buying a ton of new console games in the past few months so I definitely forced myself to tone down on Steam sales this year, haha. I've obtained most of the games I have from humble bundles and previous sales so there wasn't too much I really wanted aside from those 5.

I'm probably the most excited for The Secret World. I played a couple hours of it and quickly fell in love with the combat system. My brother plays it too, which is great since I hate joining random groups of people in MMOs in order to do endgame content.

Hatoful Boyfriend - how does a dating sim about BIRDS become so emotional??? I thought it was a joke game, but apparently, there's a very emotional story inside it all. Going to play it with my fiance at some point and see what happens.

The Sakura games - all I can say is trololololol.

NEKOPARA Vol. 1 - I've played the uncensored version. Oh gosh, I was hoping for cute cat girls to be cute, but of course it takes an X-rated turn. X-x

Child of Light - Is a really good game. Not completely done with it, but I like it so far. The art direction is just gorgeous!

Skullgirls - I'm not into fighting games, but this one is really fluid and quirky. I played it with my fiance before, and decided to get it for me and a friend who wanted the game. I suck at it, but it's fun!

As for the games I got, I was able to get a few things.

Freedom Planet - This game is a MUST if you're a fan of Sonic games on the Genesis/Mega Drive. Dust: An Elysian Tail - Haven't tried it yet. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 - I love the dialogue in this game so far! The battle system is fun too. Cherry Tree High Comedy Club & I!My!Girls! - Haven't tried it yet.

I was gifted: Half Minute Hero - It's a fun (what I interpret it as) satire of RPGs. Mount Your Friends - Haven't tried it.

With this many games I am probably going to skip their fall and winter sales, I went a little overboard.

I've been looking at The Secret World for months and the only thing stopping me from getting it is that I don't have a friend already to play with. I'm way too antisocial for MMOs. :X It looks so good though, I might have to get it someday and solo as much as I can.

And I'm so glad to hear Hatoful Boyfriend impressed you guys xD I just started it and it's adorable so far, can't wait to get further.

The only things I bought on this sale were gifts for friends, tbh. I was actually so disappointed when the sale ended and I looked back at what I bought and there was literally nothing for myself haha. I ended up buying Borderlands 1 & 2 on Humble Bundle really soon after for super cheap, though. And got Deus Ex for $1 today.

Eh, at least I'll have a bit of money saved up for the fall and winter sales.

Managed to grab a few things this steam sale!

They were:

• Primordia
• Transistor
• Retro Pixel Castles

Primordia seems to have an interesting story and setting so far! Really digging the point-and-click adventure game plus the jokes from the sidekick.

Transistor is so good! I really liked Bastion, and you can tell it's by the same company. Interesting gameplay, atmosphere and it looks hella pretty.
