Unless I'm missing something (and it's possible cause I'm not a battler) they look pretty useless to me. why should I use 20 healing potion when I can heal my pet with just once click visting the healer, and for a lower price?? They're clogging the apothecary shop and no one will ever restock them , it's just useless junk. I used to love that shop so much,but since the magic box shut down it's filled with a lot of crap and these potions really drive me insane cause I can't even understand why they exist in the first place D=

One of the healing potions is a key component for the nuclear potion, and it would suck for it to retire.

They're useful at their prices for pets with high HP. If you have 5,000 HP, instead of spending 15k at the healer, you can buy them for around 5k from shop search, go fight an easy opponent using your full healer and you're 100% healed. Might not seem like huge savings and more of a hassle, but I really only use them during boss battles and the savings add up. But they are definitely too expensive in the apothecary, otherwise I'd hoard more.

Well of course those are the better ones. There's one that only blocks 2 of each icon, and one that attacks even less than a Dark Water/Earth/Light etc Potion. Glaciating sucks though. It never freezes.

glaciating freezes plenty often to warrant its use. rng. a few other have some uses, the rest are complete junk.

Pylonics are very useful if you have low tier pets and I use them a lot even when I battle with my tier 7, but even if they weren't very useful the point is that they're unique and they do have a specific purpose, while healing potions are redundant,as you can heal your pet in other ways. I've learned now that some people prefer using hps instead of going to the healer because it's cheaper (maybe), it honestly never occured to me and I still think I'd prefer hitting my toes with an hammer than wasting time clicking on 1000000 hps just to save 10k, so I still wish they'd get rid of those potions, or at least stop restocking them in shops. pylonics get restocked all the time, while HPs sit there forever and just get in the way. I'm not saying I'm right and whoever disagree with me it's wrong,of course, I'd just be a lot happier if they were removed from the apothecary shop :P

I think as they are now, these are pretty useless-- outside of being used for a cheaper healing during boss battles, but if I'm not mistaken I think we got free healing during the last one? Or was that tempest, er.. one of them. If that started happening regularly, then these would ultimately be useless.

However, I feel like if they got revamped in function (as well as in art, talk about outdated) then I think they could definitely serve more purpose.

Like

1. They could be changed to heal more (100, 500, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, and 7,500... I'm too lazy to see how many there are but you get the point). Even if there was a 100% potion as long as it's cheaper than the healer people would stock up.

Or 2. Make them equipable (only one of each, like most things)? Healing 50hp wouldn't help some pets but that'd be invaluable to smaller pets. And I would surely stock up on the larger healing potions, especially for those harder event challengers x:

Subeta already has a system that removes nobody-buys-this items from NPC shops. If those items are still there, then somebody is buying them. You are not allowed to use the power of the site itself to tell users what they should buy or not buy.

All shops have items that nobody uses all that much in them. This is the nature of a toy economy that attempts to match a capitalist model, complicated by the fact that the items, they're not real. There are potions that were from Magic Shop that are in glut for years. They are selling way cheaper in user shops, but are still being restocked and purchased often enough that the systems nobody-buys-this doesn't get invoked, either. It's not just those Healing Potions the things that you do not like.

"clogs the shop"? Maybe. Or maybe you should try to improve your restocking skills. This is a poor reason to get rid of these items, IMO.

All of the Pylonics are seriously helpful for low-tier pets. If you think they're not, you haven't tried fighting with low-tier pets since the weapons-restricting tiers were introduced. Boosts your stats by 100 like one of them does? This is an awesome crit-generator. Blocks two of any icons at all is a lifesaver when most of your challengers rarely do more than four.

mehhh, I'd rather see them revamped like suggested rather than retired. They're a good alternative for when the healer's hitting you for 15k per heal.

Is there any reason you felt the need to be so aggressive? You don't like my suggestion, I get it; you could have stated it without personally attacking me, though, like the other users on this thread. People like you are the reason so many users don't feel confortable posting on the forums, you say something and there always have to be someone calling you stupid or ignorant just cause they don't agree with you. My restocking skills are fine,however, thank you. Also thank you for the much needed sarcasm, I feel so much confident now in posting my opinion in the future.
