We should have this option to like, save the wrapping paper when someone sends someone a gift. we can save that wrapping paper and use it when we send another gift! You could have two options when opening the gift. Rip the paper to shreds, or painstakingly taking off the paper so as not to tear it and save it.... though, I really hate it when someone does that. like really? Rip into it!

I do get the annoyance of shredding wrapping paper IRL, don't get me wrong, but I don't quite think this is a necessary feature on Subeta.

All of the wrapping papers (I believe?) are still available as actual items from user shops if you want them for a pet's TC, or a gallery. Besides, the cost of the wrapping paper from the gift center is so low that recycling it like this is kind of... eh. 7500 sP is next to nothing nowadays.

Can you still convert wrapping paper for SP? You used to be able to do this when the revamp of the gift center went through.

If you can still do it, recycling the wrapping paper would bring more SP in the economy, I can't get behind that

I wouldn't want this as a Gift Exchange site feature. I guess it could work if it were a virtual option like the other gift wrapping choices, but...why? I'm okay with the choices we have now. I mean, if we had a choice of HOW to open a present, what's the net benefit? The...box is opened in the same way it is now?

It could be useful and interesting if when the user chooses the option to tear open the wrapping paper, there was a chance of destroying the gift or something. But nobody would do that because BAWWWW MY PRESENT DIED IMMA FILE A TICKET and butthurt. So...why, again?

That said, if it were incorporated into Melody or a Luminaire plot once or twice, that could be really neat and quite fun.

No. This is just unnecessary. Also just a way for people to avoid paying the 1k or 7k. We need to take sp out of the system. Not add more in.

The only thing that might be cute is if we get a 'Pile of Reused Wrapping Paper' from the Darkheart Phantom day, with a description like 'What, are you a cheapskate or something?'. Other than that, I'm not feeling it. :x

Actually I would really like this for like... keeping the giftboxes, since you don't actually get those as items, and I would like them for galleries/TCs.

And the only use would be for TC/fodder, and it would really be random what you get unless you ask people to send you certain ones. So people can't hella profit off them? Since they can be easily gotten through gifts. And they can't be redeemed for sP since they're not the wrappings. IDK I JUST WANT THEM GIB 2 ME

I'd love to have the boxes. ;__; Yes please. I understand the possibility of scammers, but maybe since their hover isn't displayed on the gift page they can have their names changed to "Empty Spearmint Giftbox" (for example) and then we could get the empty boxes when we open a gift. Idk if it would be a problem having so many of them floating around, who knows. I'd like that more than the option to reuse the paper, if only because we have the option to use all the paper right now anyway.
