Anyways, um. I'm new to commissioning and stuff, so I'm curious -- would you buy my art? If so, what price ranges would you be willing to pay?

aye friend ( e v e )b /idk, what I've noticed is that people are much more willing to pay sP + CSC But yes, what said, auctions are a good way to gauge interest. I'd suggest setting the autobuy price +$10 (or the sP/CSC equivalent) than what you're expecting (unlike me :I)

wow, that's a large range for chibis. You really think they're worth that? Painterly is probs never gonna happen lol it takes me forever to do those, but I appreciate the price guidelines, too.

Oh my gosh I want your art in my life <3 <3 <3 I'd buy that in a heartbeat As for pricing, I certainly wouldn't ball too low. You could always auction yourself off, saying you'll draw a certain type of art (fullbody, bust, whatever). I'd put the starting bid at $10 (or whatever the equivalent is in sP or CSC, I'm new so these currencies are weird for me aha) You shouldn't be selling any of this for under ten bucks, I'd have to say. -nod-

thank you for the input! I'll probably try going with an auction first, as many have suggested, then extrapolate from there. (And thanks for that last tidbit of information; this will help to give me a baseline on pricing. o: I appreciate the advice!)
